Oak wood charcoal Korean BBQ. What else needs to be said. Good portions, great quality meat, this is how bbq is meant to be. Definitely some of the best Korean BBQ I've had. Absolutely recommend, and will absolutely be returning!

Lisa was great! She was taking all of the orders AND cooking all of the food too! The food was amazing and she even brought out some special bbq skewers that she made! Our first time there she made it so good, and we can’t wait to come eat there again! Thank you for great day!

Amazing gem. The #bonchon is unique, distinct, and dynamic. It's refreshing to come back here and have them surprise us with the layers of flavor with different bonchon courses. Thank you!!!! Bonchon is as important as distinct house kimchi and quality of meat. The meat continues to be marbled, sliced and delectable and rich. Thank you. I moved to NC and visited Chiioland just to visit you. You made my trip and appreciate the father-son dyanmic. ?

This is definitely a must visit place when you're in Chicago. It's 15 mins from O'Hare airport and a really great restaurant to go before leaving for your flight.

The food was delicious! I dined alone and the kind lady helped me with the way the food is generally eaten. I ordered the Kalbi Sal. This dish was loaded with about 8 sides if not more. Everything was hot and fresh. This is a lot of food for one person. The beef was so tender and tasty! She constantly checked on me to make sure I had the best experience with the way Koreans pair the meat with the vegetables. I will definitely dine there again!

The meat isn't fresh, the service is terrible, and I can't recommend it.

The food was amazing best Korean bbq in Illinois guaranteed, the guy that does the fire knows what he’s doing, the 2 guys in the front have amazing customer service. I had Korean bbq from all over Illinois and this tops every single place.

A great hole in the wall. I love that they still use charcoal. They also have the best green onion salad.

It was my friend's and I that came to this place. We wanted to try korean BBQ and something new, so we reserved a table, and we came early, but they accepted us. We asked the waiter what he recommended us to try out since we haven't tried any korean food. And we went with his recommendations and it was so good! . I don't remember what the order is called but it was so good! I will definitely come back here! The staff is so friendly and nice.

I discovered this place by happenstance while searching for a KBBQ place to host my wife’s birthday party. I’m glad I did; we’ve been back at least a half dozen times since. I’ve been to a lot of KBBQ places both in Chicagoland and abroad, and this is a very good one. The service is a lot better than you typically get in these kinds of restaurants, too. The charcoal grill is a nice touch and I haven’t seen it stateside before. It adds a lot to the experience. The restaurant feels as if you’re eating in Chinatown in Chicago, not the suburbs (this is a good thing).Sometimes they’re out of your favorite side dish, which can be a disappointment. Not all above-table vents work equally well, so some tables have better/worse smoke ventilation. I wish they had more physical menus.Overall my wife and I love this place and will continue to frequent it regularly.
