Best Charburger in the Chicagoland. I always get the merkts cheddar burger. The loaded fries are the bomb. Both the chocolate banana shake and raspberry shake are great.

Hotdog fry’s small drink 10 dollars pits them higher then Superdawg and Gene and Jude’s nowhere near that level. They need to adjust pricing because the food is not worth the price.

Old school Chicago beef, burger and hot dog place. Stuff is char grilled and makes for a mouth watering experience. Try to go off peak or you will wait in a long line. The Merkts cheese is a must on either a burger, hot dog or the fries. There are only a few tables outside so either eat by the car or at home.
A small place however has a variety of selections to choose from. This place is definitely a Paradise for food on the go, fast service and good atmosphere while waiting for your order.

Maybe not known for their beef sandwiches but they’re fantastic. You should have a double cheeseburger with cheddar sauce. And you’ll thank me later.
The burgers were good. Nice amount of condiments. The line moved fast. But, sitting at a picnic table feet from River Road where cars were either zooming by or slowing to try to turn into a non-existent parking lot, that part ruined it for me. The noise from the road was too much.
Parking: Just park on a side street. Don't bother trying the tiny lot.

If you live in the Chicagoland area you NEED to try this place. The burgers are cooked perfectly and if you’re a pickle lover, the pickles are really good too! I also love how big the burgers are- I had a single and could barely finish it. HIGHLY recommend the Merkt’s spread to elevate your burger. The fries are so crispy and delicious. The chocolate banana shake is one of the best shakes I’ve ever tried. And the mozz sticks are pretty yummy too! Also, the workers are very friendly. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu items. EVERYTHING is good here.
