Whenever I go here I always get very good food however I went this one time and the food was not fresh at all when I got home I got the Maxwell suite polish it was so much in the bag and terrible-looking I threw it out the bread was mushy and wet just looked disgusting the hot dog was hard not fresh at all the bun washing machine they normally have a nice snap to their hot dogs but this was extremely hard which believe it was not a fresh hot dog and the fries were cold the service was not friendly the guy open the window handed me to food and shut the window how rude can you get not even a thank you who's opening the window like it was a speakeasy or something.

Stopped in for a Maxwell street polish. It’s your average Chicago dog and burger joint, but the atmosphere is like an old diner where you might hang out and eat in the parking lot or at the picnic tables outside. Kitschy and amusing, but nothing super special food wise. They do have malts, which makes anyone smile!
Kid-friendliness: Absolutely a great place to take the family! Hit the drive thru and park or sit at the outdoor tables.

I used to go there a lot, try to go again for the classic cars and there was a cocky white hair guy in and out the place trying to bother people the whole time he did it to us 4 times for no reason it made us really uncomfortable, unfortunately we ended up leaving, I hope he is not the owner because it gives really bad reputation just trying to tell everyone what to do when people are just there to have a good time and eat
