The Mehanata Specialty Pork had a nice flavor but was super greasy and a bit too salty for my taste. The Meatball Soup ended up being the highlight of the meal — I was surprised it was served cold (since that wasn’t listed in the description), but it was light, refreshing, and well-seasoned.
The Chicken and Pork Combo Grill was cooked perfectly and came in a generous portion — definitely enough to feed two people. However, the fries underneath were soaked in oil, and all the meats seemed to share a similar seasoning. The side of fresh tomatoes, cucumber, and red onions helped cut through the richness nicely.
The Parlenka was cooked well and paired great with the meats.
I ordered through DoorDash, and the delivery time was reasonable. I’d come back to try other dishes in the future. The saltiness may just be my palate since I don’t usually consume much salt.

My husband and son live 2.5 hours. I was flying out of ORD for a travel agent convention and stayed at a hotel down the street. We found this quaint place by chance and LOVED it. Our server was incredible! He explained everything to us, provided excellent recommendations and made sure we enjoyed our experience. In fact we enjoyed it so much that as soon as my husband picked me up at ORD today, we headed straight to the restaurant. The aromatic salt they provided or the bread was delightful. So much so that I researched it and was going to try to replicate it at home when our server gave us instructions to a grocery store nearby that carried it. We will most definitely be back!!
