My husband had 12 cupcakes delivered to me for my birthday and they were really delicious. The delivery guy was also so sweet and wished me happy birthday. The cupcakes are very dense which I like but others may not. Think Crumbl cookie texture. The white cupcake in particular was very dense, others not quite as dense. They were beautifully decorated as well. Will order from them in the future!

Owner needs to learn some manners and customer etiquette
We mapquest bakeries and it brought us to Bakers Street. We had never been to this bakery, we didn't know what the sweets were and had asked the guy if he could name them. He seemed very annoyed that we asked him but he did name them in under 20 seconds. Let's just say that all the cupcakes we bought, went in the garbage. They were dense and didn't seem like they were freshly made. Sorry to say we will not be returning to this bakery.

I am a lawyer who had to go to Dixon Correctional to get a client to sign some papers. All the same, I stopped in this coffee shop with my mom who came along on this trip with me from Chicago. The lady who worked in here who I assumed was the owner was very unwelcoming. She had a frown on her face from the moment I walked in. I guess they were having some Avon or Mary Kay event. I ordered a drip coffee for my mom and then decided I wanted some myself and said I would put the peppermint creamer that was on the counter in my coffee. She said I couldn’t use it, that the creamer was for the event. She seemed pretty angry saying this, like how am I supposed to know that creamer wasn’t for paying customers? FYI, the town was empty and there was nobody in the coffee shop anyway. This lady acted like we were genuinely bothering her. As we walked out, my mom joking said, “Sorry I rained on your parade.”
Then, the woman screamed passive aggressively, “You have a nice day now.”
My mom and I were complete strangers and this woman acted like she wanted to fight with us from the moment we walked in. Very very ignorant and hostile. I regret leaving a tip. Cupcake we got was extremely cold and stale tasting. Never had a worse cupcake in my life!
P.S. I just saw some of the other one star reviews. Apparently, this owner has been extremely rude to other people as well. Shame!!

My wife and I come to town for our anniversary every year and decided to find some sweets. We pulled up and walked in like we owned the place.🤣 I did notice the lights on the display were off but just figured they were trying to save a few bucks. I will make this short but DUMB DUMB me didn't even think of asking if they were open which she was not... They owner was super understanding and we did get some great cupcakes, wish I would have tried the multi layered cake and will next time and of course make sure they are open.
We so appreciate the understanding and the cupcakes were amazing.
Sorry for barging in like we did and please keep up the great work.
If you are in town this is a MUST stop for cakes, cookies coffee and cup cakes.
Thanks again,
Todd & Val

This is a delightful place with the most delicious blueberry scones I’ve ever had in my life! We also enjoyed a blueberry biscuit last time we were there. Charming place with wonderful service. Highly recommend.

Got 12 cups gluten free and dairy free...the cupcake was about 1 inch high and 3 in of frosting ...they were supposed to be white they were Grey and tasted horrible. I paid $67 for horrible cupcakes and then on the receipt they asked for a tip...here's a tip make better tasting cupcakes...I will not go back ..paying almost $6 a cupcakes that we ended up throwing away because they were HORRIBLE.. would not go back or recommend this bakery....
We were the only guests when we visited on a mid-April early afternoon and decided to pop in after lunch during a weekend visit to Dixon. Very good coffee (not overly bitter), the lemon, blueberry biscuit was quite good, and they seem to make every pastry in house. I imagine the other pastries are delicious too. Definitely worth a visit while in town.
Always welcomed with kindness. A true staple to Dixon!
