“I was very pleased with my experience at this restaurant. Online ordering was very easy and was ready right when I walked in the door. The total for what we got was very affordable. We got a large pizza and bread sticks and cinnamon monkey bread and 2 liter of pop for around $30. We had a gift card and for joining online we got an additional $3 coupon. The grand total after all that was $12 which was unbelievable. The food was delicious and even pleased my granddaughter which is very picky. We will order from here again in the future.”

“We had a table of 11 for a birthday celebration and we had my nephew with us and he has autism. There are times that we get looks or people just are not understanding. My nephew spilled a drink and the owner I believe it was came to help clean it up and was so nice about it. Some people don’t engage in conversation with my nephew as sad as that is and the girl/hostess there made a point to talk to him two or three times. I honestly was so impressed with the kindness of everyone. The food was a bonus because it was great as always, but the genuine niceness of everyone really won me over. Thank you to Basil Tree for your kindness towards my nephew.”

“Nice small town bar. It's a quaint place to grab a cold one and relax. It gas a pool table and video gaming. It sits across from the Rock river where there is a park with a canoe launch, and kitty corner from the John Deer museum. They also have a monthly cheese lady who sells Wisconsin goods.”

Rice & beans DO NOT get served prior to the meal & the beans were pretty much like soup NOT the way refried beans are supposed to be. Food was mediocre and could use more flavoring. Was a spur of the moment choice and most likely it was a one & done experience for us.”

Just then, a girl standing next to me, who I hadn't noticed in my distracted state, turned and smiled. "Hey, I couldn't help but overhear. What was your order supposed to be?"

"Caramel macchiato with an extra shot," I replied, a hint of frustration in my voice.

Her eyes sparkled with understanding. "I can help with that. My name's Taylor, by the way. I actually work here part-time, but today I'm just grabbing a drink before class." She slid behind the counter with ease, her movements confident and fluid.

I watched as Taylor swiftly gathered the ingredients. She moved with the precision of someone who knew the rhythm of the place, despite not being on duty. In no time, she handed me a new cup, steam curling from the opening.

"Here you go," she said, her smile warm and reassuring. "One caramel macchiato with an extra shot, just the way you like it."

I took a cautious sip. The flavors were perfect—the rich espresso balanced by the sweet caramel, just as it should be. I looked at Taylor, gratitude flooding through me. "Thank you so much. You really saved my morning."
