“If you want a delicious fish fry, Chana Tap is your place!! They have a 1 or 2 piece catfish or haddock dinner to choose from on Friday nights. You also can order from their menu. I would advise arriving early as they are typically crowded from late afternoon through the entire dinner hour. Their fish fry is one of the best in Ogle County! Our waitress was extremely friendly and patient!! Their atmosphere could use some upgrades.”

“Nice small town bar. It's a quaint place to grab a cold one and relax. It gas a pool table and video gaming. It sits across from the Rock river where there is a park with a canoe launch, and kitty corner from the John Deer museum. They also have a monthly cheese lady who sells Wisconsin goods.”

He enjoyed his chicken, not much flavor to the chicken but good, my chicken was a little over- corn nuggets and mozzarella sticks were good.”

“I live in the area, but have only been to Uncle B's a half dozen times. The hamburgers with fries are delicious and wings superb. The prices are no different than anyplace else in these times. It is a friendly establishment and a asset to Amboy. It gets a little crowded and there may be a little wait, but the atmosphere and local people are very friendly. I highly recommend it for a friendly drink and bite to eat. *****”

“If you are looking for a nice place to have dinner for one, two or host a party like a reunion The Longbranch Saloon is the perfect place. Tonight we were there to celebrate our 40th anniversary and couldn't have been more pleased with the service or the quality of the food. We made a reservation for the 10 of us in advance so when we came in our table was nicely set and ready. We ordered several orders of appetizer plates and every one at the table enjoyed them while we looked over the menu and placed our dinner orders. The meal was timed perfectly with all of us getting our plates at the same time hot, fresh and per the way they were ordered. If you are more of an outdoor person they have a fantastic outdoor area to enjoy a drink and some company. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping at The Longbranch.”
