“My husband and I, as well as many of our friends have been coming in here for years!! Always good food and drinks and staff is always very friendly! However, we came in on Saturday 11/1 about 5-ish … several people at the bar . One in gambling area and nobody at tables … we sat and waited 20 minutes …. Bartender saw us and ignored us … just sat there waiting for her to take a drink order … no waitress came by so she may have been in her own … but all she had to do is say anything …. 10 seconds to order a drink ??? We just got up and left … very disappointed and if we come in again and she is there …. Probably won’t stay she was very rude!”

“I would recommend This place if you’re into arcade cabinets yet there relatively new. if I had to recommend an arcade game, I do the Mario kart one. Great ice cream and great atmosphere. Instant five stars in my Book. also if you’re into golf, they have a mini golf course.

Kid-friendliness: Games are relatively kid friendly. I’m pretty sure the necessary ratings are K&A-T=Teen.

Kid shouldn’t really be that restricted.”

“We drove to Mendota to visit a museum that had a section dedicated to Wild Bill Hickock. After that we began to look for a local food place to have lunch. We stopped to ask someone who was on their porch, and they said we should try Parkway. My grandson and I loved the place. Such friendly people working there. I asked our waitress if they were all family, because they all looked they could be, haha. She said they were a family. Grandson ordered a big hamburger meal and I chose the pork tenderloin. He was happy with his meal, and I must say the tenderloin was not only big, it was so very delicious. One of the best I have ever eaten. Not sure when we will get back to Mendota, but when we do I know where we will have a meal. God bless this family.”

He enjoyed his chicken, not much flavor to the chicken but good, my chicken was a little over- corn nuggets and mozzarella sticks were good.”

“I live in the area, but have only been to Uncle B's a half dozen times. The hamburgers with fries are delicious and wings superb. The prices are no different than anyplace else in these times. It is a friendly establishment and a asset to Amboy. It gets a little crowded and there may be a little wait, but the atmosphere and local people are very friendly. I highly recommend it for a friendly drink and bite to eat. *****”

“I went into Purpose Nutrition today for my first time and was impressed right off the bat. The place is very clean, nicely laid out and gives off a positive vibe atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and informative. She was awesome ! This seems to be a place I will commonly visit due to the wide range of healthy delicious products and great service.”

“If you are looking for a nice place to have dinner for one, two or host a party like a reunion The Longbranch Saloon is the perfect place. Tonight we were there to celebrate our 40th anniversary and couldn't have been more pleased with the service or the quality of the food. We made a reservation for the 10 of us in advance so when we came in our table was nicely set and ready. We ordered several orders of appetizer plates and every one at the table enjoyed them while we looked over the menu and placed our dinner orders. The meal was timed perfectly with all of us getting our plates at the same time hot, fresh and per the way they were ordered. If you are more of an outdoor person they have a fantastic outdoor area to enjoy a drink and some company. If you are in the area I highly recommend stopping at The Longbranch.”
