My husband have wanted to try this restaurant for a long time since reading other reviews about it. The reviews were spot on. Our waiter, Michael, was outstanding. He was taking care of half the room and never missed a beat. They certainly know how to hire staff. That was an added bonus to the food. Our appetizer of onion rings were perfect. The batter was light and airy. My husband doesn't like onion rings and loved these. They were piping hot, too. I'm not much of a beef person but ordered a New York Strip. After all, how could you go to a steak house and not order steak? It was the best steak I have ever had. It had just the right crust on it. The juices were flowing onto the plate. Seasoning perfect. My husband ordered the filet and ate every bit of it. He said it was so good he hated to eat the last bite because he'd want more. I suggest you make reservations because you don't want to miss eating at this restaurant. It's a gem!

Places like this are a gem to find. We dropped in after hearing good things. We looked at the mixed review on TripAdvisor, and wondered what was up. Our visit was just good. We were greeted promptly, and seated promptly. We started with an order of their gourmet onion rings, which were tasty. They also had a nice salad bar with soup. My wife had their Galena Steak Special, and I tried their filet. Both were cooked properly, served nice and hot and needed no steak sauce. The corkage on the wine is quite reasonable - we snagged a bottle of Rodney Strong Cabernet for $26, which is

The service was slow for it being a Tuesday night. I also initially asked for a steak with sautéed mushrooms and onions, I only got mushrooms. And then when we finished eating we asked for a box and ten minutes goes by she was no where to be seen. When it was time to pay there was no one at the register so we waited for another 10 minutes. Really disappointed considering I’ve been coming here for years.

On the regular menu there are deals where you can eat for two, making it more than affordable for an anniversary dinner under 50.00. The menu typically includes soup and salad bar, so no one should leave hungry.
