We visited again last Wednesday; what a treat! Kim's an outstanding server. Be sure to ask for her. The BPT is one of the best in northern Illinois. Great Iowa craft beers too.

Ordered online for pick up we normally just order only chicken george but had a strong taste for some fettuccine alfredo and decided to try their $25 Cajun pasta which clearly states on their online menu where you order over a bed of fettuccine. Highly disappointed when I got cavatappi/cellentani noodles which are commonly used for Mac and cheese. When I called to question if I got the wrong pasta the woman on phone told me those are only noodles we have here I questioned so it’s not fettuccine noodles then? She proceeded to check with kitchen comes back to tell me no they are cavatappi noodles. I said well that’s very misleading on your website for online orders for delivery or pick up if I’m reading one thing and receiving another. She said they’re going to change their menu soon and that’s what we got. I said okay thanks I guess and that was the end of it. Their menu to order really shouldn’t have over a bed of fettuccine when the only thing is alfredo sauce on different noodles. Whether they’re changing it or not I’m surprised this hasn’t been an issue prior and changing their menu doesn’t help my issue at hand that I got completely something different than what I ordered. Won’t be returning not even for the Chicken George at this point we also got bleu cheese when I asked for ranch and extra ranch. Didn’t like the pasta nor the response to my concern. 🙁

Very good food. We stopped for lunch. Good service. The employees seemed to know many of the patrons. We are not thrilled to support places with slots so I took 1 star off for atmosphere. But room around each table, large window with view and good light.

My first visit was absolutely fantastic!! Even though I was ordering my food for take-out, Jim was super friendly and helpful when explaining the different menu items to me. I'm so glad that I decided on the Trash Can Fries which were soooooo good that I had to stop myself from eating all of them in order to save room for my Chicken Georgie sandwich. The chicken tenders were both crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The Garlic Aioli was the perfect garnish. The Garlic Mashed Potatoes were delicious!! They were nice and thick. Just the way that I like them. The restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere. It has plenty of room and you don't feel cramped or too close to the table next to you. I was checking everything out while I was waiting for my food. Everyone was really friendly and accommodating. Offering me a glass of water while I waited. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other tasty items on the menu. If you're looking for a casual place to enjoy some really fantastic food, great conversation with your friends or family, this is definitely the place for you!! You won't be disappointed. I definitely wasn't. 😋

Normally eat at Candlelight in Rockfalls but they were closed for remodeling. Not impressed with there menu. Rockfalls has better variety. No baked potatoes. Chicken george was under cooked along with the fries. Mac and cheese looked good but was mushy. Will not be back.
The food here is absolutely terrible. You eat here with 3 people your going to spend about 100 dollars and your gonna feel like you got robbed when you leave. The brisket burger is just a regular cheap burger patty with fat shavings on top of it everything else was dry and tasted old. I approached the bar and asked the guy to make me a drink and he looked at me like I was crazy and told me he would tell my server never going to give them my money again

We had been here couple times in the past few years so we recommended to our visiting family to eat here yesterday....Palmyra is a big hit with them! Everything was above our expectations. Our burgers and chicken dinners were delicious. We loved our trash can fries appetizer...perfect for a group of 6...Thank you all at Palmyra for such a memorable experience for our family. Of course we'll continue to come back 👍👍👍 even requesting our booth section we had yesterday ☺️
