Went for dinner last night for my Sister’s Birthday, the food was phenomenal!! We were a party of 8 so we had reservations not a single one of us had a bad meal or thought it would be better if….. The pork tenderloin was 🔥, jumbo shrimp, pork chop, cod, twice baked potatoes,homemade mashed potatoes, as well as the homemade Ranch were AMAZING!!! Definitely recommend and will be returning. Service was excellent also hoping our server forgave our confusion with the tips she well deserved.

This place is great! ONLY ONE complaint! It's SO COLD in the diningroom! Bring a few extra layers!🥶 I HIGHLY recommend the deep fried shrimp! They're HUGE!

The experience got off to a rough start. We were given a hard time by the hostess for not having a reservation, which immediately set the tone. That said, our waitress was good and did her job well. The seating is packed in extremely tight. While eating our very average, overpriced food, I was bumped hard enough by someone passing by that I dropped my meal. What made this more frustrating is that there were open tables when we arrived and still open tables when we left. Overall, the food did not live up to the price, and the atmosphere felt more stressful than enjoyable. Lesson learned: make a reservation or be prepared to feel punished for not having one.

We stopped at Rivers Edge while passing through on a road trip. EXCELLENT QUALITY FOOD!!!!! I was craving fried catfish and wow was Rivers Edge incredible! Super friendly people and big menu! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Had reservations and when we got there they couldn’t find our reservation at first. Then we were put in a corner facing a wall it was so dark we couldn’t even see the menu. The waitress used her flashlight on her phone so we could see it. Our steaks came and they were so thin you could have read a paper thru it. The steaks were terrible but the soup was good. If you want to spend $30.00 for soup go there.

One of our favorite places to go and definitely the best place in Dixon. Worth visiting just for the wonderful food they serve. You really get your money's worth there. Great views of the river. Plenty of seating and there's even a cozy old fashioned bar inside that you'll always be able to get a seat at. You'll go back again after visiting. Just like we do :)
