Food is always cold even if you eat in. Had wait to even order even though it was empty inside and drive through was dead. This place was good 10 years ago not so much now. Its not just Wendys it's fast food in general. Guess it's all about taking your money with no pride in the food they serve. The pop machine is the best thing about this location when it works and it's usually out of a lot of flavors. Sorry to be so negative but it's my money and I wish it was not so.

I have pretty low expectations right now with staff shortages, etc especially in the restaurant industry however even given that I was VERY disappointed in this place. Abput 10 pm, We wanted a frosty so checked website to see how late open, said 10:30 so we came from across town got to drive thru & sat there at intercom for several minutes, said hello a cupla times in case broken etc. No answer, saw manager as well as other employees milling about inside so pulled up to window, sat there several minutes again while employees clearly looked at us & ignored, finally a girl came over to say "we're closed", we said but the site said 10:30, she said my manager said we're closed due to staff shortage. . . Ok I get that however, when I proceeded to tell her "well there are now 5 cars behind me, u might wana at least let them know", she said "well we don't have headsets & can't hear them so we don't care!" That's the part that REALLY bothered me. At least be considerate enough of your customer to put a sign on the intercom to let people know. So I walked around & told other cars that they are closed. Closing due to staff shortage I don't have a problem with, being that inconsiderate I do have a problem with. To be clear I was never rude in anyway to her. But we need to do better people.

The sterling store is just ridiculous.(nights) came in to get a baconator fry and went inside because I wanted to wait for fresh fries(which is no big deal to me at all and why I went inside.) The whole time waiting i watched the drive thru sandwich maker making sandwiches barehanded which is disgusting. Even worse he had his phone sitting right on the station listening to music didn't seem to care. So I'm sure he was touching his phone between making sandwiches which is disgusting because phones carry so much bacteria on them. This was 5:38 PM on a friday(5/24/19) which is a pretty high volume time. After saying something to the fry guy about hoping the sandwich maker didn't RIP up the bacon on my fries barehanded(which I'm sure he did) he seemed to copped an attitude with me and said it would be 6 mins to remake. Whatever they had to make new cheese sauce but if I remember right your suppose to change out the pan and not use the same nasty pan. Either way they don't seem to care about anything food safety wise. Even watched workers eating online. So disgusting. Finally got my fries after 20 mins of waiting. In which there wasn't many customers in there but EVERYONE was having problems with missing food which the employee just argued with each other about whose fault it was right in front of all of us. I wouldn't recommend going in there after 4PM you'll just waste your money and possibly get sick from bad food.

Stopped for a burger at 145. Little slow in the drive thru. But burger was good.
