Big Buba's Philly Steak & Lemonade

I place an order for a double Turkey burger with everything and mushrooms. It’s been a while since I have dined here but I never forgot that they hand packed their burger fresh, Always. I ordered my food and walked out to my car to wait, I walked back in and my order was being packed to go. I finally get home begin to eat it. The first couple of bites were ok. By the third bite it starts to get really chewy, almost as if the meat isn’t real or gamey. After the 4th/5th bite I ended up throwing the sandwich out because the texture was off and it felt like a frozen patty that was possibly freezer burned and cooked. Every bite I was spitting out chewy meat, not even gristle. It was disgusting to say the least. If I went back I’d ask before ordering a turkey burger if it is handmade and if not I’d order something else. I also asked for the fries to be crispy and as always they come out flash fried and soggy.

The quality of the food at the location in Dolton, IL is not good. I noticed a decline in the food in comparison to a few years ago. I ordered a chicken philly and there was very little chicken on there. It was mostly bread and onions. The French fries were hard and dry and buried in lemon pepper. Also we had to wait 30 minutes for one sandwich and it wasn't even crowded. I think the Wilma's barbecue next door is driving them out of business. I won't ever go back.

Online ordering messed up and accepted my order after hours. When I arrived, the staff was heading out because they were already closed but they decided to reopen just to make my order anyway! Wonderful service! Thanks again!

Service was not friendly at all but I overlooked it, got my receipt and realized I was over charged and asked the man about it and he changed the price right before my very eyes, got home and the food was as nasty as the service fool me once shame on you, won’t be back!

This place is the worse the wait for 2 burgers was 45 minutes and there was only 2 ppl in there don’t recommend going here specially for gig workers!!

I’ve been eating her for over 6years. Food has always been great. Recently I’ve tried to pay for an order with my credit card. My transaction canceled 5 times, that person ahead me has had the same issue. Days later I let the manager know I’ve been charged for an order for $50 despite paying cash.
