Dorothy's Jerk and Soul Food

I ordered from Dorothy's for the first time tonight. My order was very good. The chicken was flavorful, the sauce added a unique layer of flavor, all without overpowering heat. What truly shines are the vege sides and the hard bread. The greens were perfect, the cabbage was super spicy and delicious and the plantains were were sweet and caramelized as I would expect. That hard bread is a business all by itself! It tastes so fresh out of the oven homemade, I was surprised! A truly enjoyable first time experience!

First time and the sides are terrible the j*** sauce was even terrible iam disappointed

The food was amazing. I ordered the wing dinner with sweet potatoes and Mac and cheese. Please support this amazing restaurant and to top it off they have amazing customer service.

Me and my lady ordered a decent amount of food through door dash and only half of our order came. Called the restaurant and they admitted they were wrong and corrected personally brung the other half of our food. Mind you this was the first time eating here. But they went above and beyond to correct it and we greatly appreciate it I’ll eat here againFYI: great food also ???

I went here on Sunday and it taste like there food had know season to it, they don't have to worry bout me come back there anymore, I will have to fine me a new place to fine me some soul food,

I absolutely CRAVE this food ! The cabbage is going to be what this restaurant is FAMOUS FOR ! I appreciate the owner being different and playing around with different flavors of j*** sauce this recent one i just had was absolutely DEVINE ! I always get the same thing , my wing DINNER ! The wings are always on point !!!!

Chicken had no flavor. It tasted like the mac and cheese noodles were boiled in sprite. Red beans and rice had no flavor. Way overpriced for quality of food. Felt bad about eating it afterwards.

The food was ready on time it was great I will come back and I’m from the city best food ever soul and j*** lol I wouldn’t have to cook again!

The food was so bad order the oxtail no sauce to help the stuff save your money

Ok this is my second time eating hear my first time the food was delicious but tonight omg greens has to much vinegar my man odored the cabbage that had way to much vinegar as well red beans and rice dry no flavor. Kinda disappointed tonight ill give them one more chance but it will not be on the wknd food was horrible tonight i dont know who cooking on the wk days but they need to be there on the wknd with food like this this restaurant wont last year

This food wasn’t good at all. Cabbage was wilted and mushy,the chicken was dry, the sauce had too much vinegar. Mac and yams were okay! 2 1/2 3 stars

I dont know who is cookingDorothy or another cook.Listen I ordered the oxtail lunch.It takes to 2-3 hours to tenderize IOnly ate them because I have notHad any in 2 months.The cabbage?And rice with red beans were cookedTo death and not in a good way.I dontKnow what was done to the sweetPotatoes.If you dont get it togetherYou will be out of business/some peopleKnow good food ,remember THAT !!!!

Turkey Wings with rice and gravy dinner was delicious. Came wit two more sides Cabbage and Mac n Cheese both were good. I’ll definitely be trying more things on the menu!
