Met a friend in Downtown Downers Grove and happened upon this family owned Mexican restaurant that was open on a Sunday. I tried a steak taco at the suggestion of the person taking my order. It was very tasty. The carnitas one was good too. The atmosphere in the dining room is pleasant and cozy. The woman working that day brought us some warm chips and salsa to enjoy with our meal. everytime we have visited Alfredos Taqueria we have been greeted with a smile and a warm hello. The service, the food and atmosphere have been awesome. If you haven't had a chance to stop in and have some of this great food you are missing out. Try it you will not be disappointed!
