I love this place. I stopped by two times this week and it’s only Tuesday. I was in search of a proper sandwich and unbeknownst to me was this gem in downtown downers. Along with the delicious Berto sub they have so many added pluses like the pasta salads, tiramisu and a'siciliana limonata.
Food is is ok. The amount of meat they use on their sandwiches is sparse. The roast beef sandwich had paper thin tomatoes.The Italian beef sandwich was just ok, not enough seasoning. Worst of all they have tables to eat in but no bathroom.
The sandwiches are really wimpy here. Everything is cut as thin as a sheet of paper.
Everything was fresh no complaints. The bread was soft.
It’s a decent sandwich, but like I said, it’s super wimpy! Everything is like paper thin, and there’s just not enough of it.
