Stopped for dinner to go. Friendly helpful front counter. Crispy chicken pieces, Cole slaw was delicious as were the cinnamon apples and mashed potatoes. Yum just as we remembered Brown's.

You can not beat the weekly specials. Always made while you wait, and Manager Dave is thee best cook in town, and goes out of his way to do all those things you love about chicken. 5+ stars thank you Dave for FIRE FRIED CHICKEN ONLY CHICKEN FRANCHISE LEFT THAT IS ? TRUE ?AND DONT MISS THE MASHED POTATOES AND GRAVY ITS TO KILL FOR ALONG WITH THAT CHICKEN. ITS THE SAME AS 30 YRS AGO. ONLY CHICKEN I WILL EAT OTHERS DO NOT COMPARE. Boy, do I miss having these around! Since I no longer have a Brown's Chicken near me, I couldn't resist stopping into this one in Hinsdale for a quick bite. Chicken was fresh, hot, and crispy. Ordered a side of fried mushrooms and was reminded of how Brown's prepared them best. Their breading truly is superior.
