We came here for lunch. I ordered the mixed grill lunch for about $15. It comes with beef, chicken, and kofta, and 2 pita breads. The staff were friendly and quick with cooking the food. The rice pilaf was very tasty. I didn’t care much for the beef because it was a bit chewy and dry. I would prefer if it was like medium rare to medium. The chicken was very tender and juicy. The kofta had some nice flavor. Pita bread was hot and fresh. Food portions are not small. There is a large dining area. We parked on the far right side where it’s not so crowded. They have parking on the left and back but it’s kind of cramped.

My coworker and I went to lunch to Cedar Grill because he often met his wife there after work and they liked the food there. So, I ordered the Chicken Shwarma wrap and a cup of lentil soup. The soup came with warm pita bread which was very fresh and tasty. The lentil soup was not like any lentil soup I had before. It tasted off. It was hearty, but I did not enjoy the flavor. It was yellow, so from what I read that is probably because of turmeric added to it. I guess I'm not a fan of turmeric. It wasn't horrible, but not a flavor that tasted good. The same for my chicken Shwarma. Hot, but a sort of tongue drying hearty blandness that turned me off. I finished the soup, but only finished half of the wrap. I took that half home in a to go container but just ended up throwing it in the garbage. This is my first time eating at a middle eastern style of food restaurant, so I will go back again and try something else next time. 5 stars for the freshness and the friendly service. The woman that took my order was very nice. And the place was very clean. I just could not enjoy all that turmeric embedded into everything. Not for me.

First time visiting here and the lady at the counter was really friendly, patient and helpful. I got the chicken shawarma bowl and the flavors were so good! I really enjoyed my meal and look forward to coming back!

That was my first and last time going to Cedar Restaurant, I asked the cashier about the chicken shawarma and she said they serve the best chicken shawarma but I was surprised that the shawarma was made up of very dry large pieces of chicken and the spices used were curry ONLY !!and I asked for pickles and garlic sauce but they never added it to my sandwich , the sandwich was very bad I didn't finish it. I don't know why I paid $14 for that bad sandwich, it doesn't deserve more than $3 to be honest 😔
