6/5/2024 I ordered a sandwich to go. When I bit into it, I realized the person slicing the deli meat forgot to unpeel the plastic wrap. Lunch ruined.

I ordered Jimmy John's for a special birthday lunch delivery to the school. I took care to allow plenty of time for it to arrive before my son's lunch break. About 30 minutes before the expected delivery, I called to double-check the status and was informed that it was already on its way with the driver.Then, at 11:30 AM, my son called me from the school office, hungry and wondering where his lunch was. I immediately phoned the store again to inquire about the status. They assured me they would contact me once they spoke with the driver, but that call never came.To my dismay, the lunch didn't arrive until 11:52 AM, long after my son's lunch period had ended. What was frustrating was that the school was just 3-4 blocks away from the store, and you'd expect that a school delivery would be a priority for the driver.When I checked with the school office, they confirmed that three other kids also had their Jimmy John's lunches delivered late. It's clear that Jimmy John's needs to make some changes if they can't consistently meet their delivery times, or perhaps reconsider offering this service altogether.
