I loved this place! I stumbled across it in accident while I was out shopping - my goto was CoCoMero - but I think my mind has been changed. It's cozy, clean, a huge selection of flavors and toppings. Staff was great & super friendly! Keep going, munchies!
Menchie’s Downers Grove has supposedly been under new management since March 2025, and the difference shows. the store is clean, welcoming, and consistently stocked. the staff constantly go out of their way to make every visit memorable — greeting guests with a smile, offering samples, and making sure kids feel excited to be here.

Yesterday was my first time here in several months, and we were SO pleasantly surprised to enter a CLEAN, organized, and beautified space. The staff were so courteous and helpful. I mentioned how the shop had done a 360 since I had last been in, and they informed me they were under new ownership. I am beyond thrilled so see that one of our neighborhood faves has been saved! If you haven't been since before March, give them another chance. I guarantee you'll be blown...
