Okay, maybe a little high on the price, but it is Chicago area. Price vs. quality is acceptable for me. Friendly service. Very patient as we worked through possibilities. We had this place mapped out for our vacation and it did not disappoint. Would definitely return. Exceptionally clean, and that is important for an ice cream place.

I gave a 3 star because I’ve been coming here for years and have never had an issue. Last night I ordered a double scoop (1 scoop of cookie dough and 1 scoop of cookies and cream), and I’m now up on a work day with food poisoning. When the cone was handed to me, it did seem like it was already melted which leads me to believe the ice cream was left out of the freezer for a while. I know you guys were busy too. Lovely Oberweis location. Workers are local high schoolers who are very well mannered. They forgot to add sprinkles to my shake but were quick to fix the problem and offer more than they should have. Definitely make a stop here for your dairy needs.
