It was dinner time when we were driving by and saw the sign for Thai First. Thai food being our favorite, we (I was with my wife) decided to get soup to take home. Thai First in Downers Grove located in a strip mall has a small but nice dining room, and a good selection of items on the menu. The Tom Kha soup we had was one of the best soups we have had. What a wonderful family restaurant! Very high quality seating, artwork and colors. Neat and clean, the tables, china and cloth napkins lend an air of elegance unexpected in this convenient strip mall. Limited seating may mean you'll have to wait for a table. They enjoy a busy take-out business. We ate in and the menu includes an awesome selection of dishes. When served, the dishes were piping hot and very tasty. This thai restaurant has a very nice elegant presentation. The service was very friendly, kind and pleasant. I am only giving it an average rating because 1) our dishes were brought out separately and 2) the food was not that tasty and 3) there was not much of it!
