I go out of my way to come to this location whenever I'm traveling through the Chicago area. I especially enjoyed the corn fritters and their coleslaw, made with a vinegar base. I have been eating at White Fence Farm for over fifty years and I don't miss it when I have an opportunity to stop for an excellent meal!

LOVE the chicken and sides here. The bean salad is the best! My only reason for a 4 star rating is that they need to get with the times! Please consider working with a company for delivery. It is very inconvenient when you need 100 pieces of chicken for a party. This requires driving to the location, waiting, and driving home, missing about 45 mins of a party from where we are (if it only takes 15 mins for chicken). I'll pay the fee, but I just need someone reliable to deliver!

This place is dirty and smells of mold. I wanted to get chicken today. Stood in front of the lady at the counter for almost 5 minutes with no acknowledgement whatsoever. She was taking a phone order. The place was empty when I walked in the line was 5 deep when I walked out. $9 for half of a small over cooked chicken is no good. This place has gone way down hill. Been a costumer for over 20 years, not anymore.

The chicken looked well seasoned but tasted bland and maybe that's what people like about it. It wasn't my cup of tea. However, the corn fritters we're very tasty!

Good food and friendly staff. My issue is that the older, thick guy with the glasses doesn’t wear gloves. I watched him pick out mushrooms and chicken with his bare hands. Everyone else has gloves on. That’s what stops me from going to certain restaurants.

Love the food here. They have fantastic fried chicken dinners with traditional sides. It's always worth walking in to see what's new and to have a friendly service with the workers.

I went to the White Fence Farm Take out located in Downer's Grove. The Staff was Courteous and knowledgeable about the items that were offered. As always, the Chicken was delicious!

Ordered a 4 piece chicken dinner at the Downers Grove location carry out.The chicken breast was tough probably not fresh. The sides are not what they use to be. Cole slaw more vinegar tasting and too much mayo was soupy. Same for the bean salad. So disappointing as the sides always my favorite. Sorry to say but won't go back.

This is a carryout place, so don't expect too much. The main restaurant in Romeoville is full service. You get the best service more than you expect.

The best corn fritters and some of the best chicken anywhere. The Cole slaw and other sides are good, too. The nostalgic old Coke machines and being able to watch the staff prepare the food is great.
