My kids and I walked rock island trail and stopped at Mayflower for breakfast. We’ve always wanted to try it and today was the perfect day! I was very pleased with our dining experience and will definitely be back. Mia is the sweetest person. She’s so kind and caring and always has a smile. Her family makes their restaurant feel very welcoming especially when you’ve got kids. We got the kids pancake meal, chocolate chip pancakes and mama’s special. Oh, and the last piece of chocolate cream pie that my kids devoured when we got home! The food was excellent and my kids and I ate every last bite. The restaurant was definitely my kind of vibes. Quiet, cute and clean. If you’re looking for a small town restaurant with good food and good people this is the place to go! Thank you so much Mia (and family) for taking great care of us today! Awesome service chicken fried steak was really good gravy. Probably good. Use a little more salt overall, I would recommend you visit this place. The waitress was so awesome.

Absolutely Phenomenal!! Would Highly Recommend! Extraordinary All Around! The Owner and Waitress were Complete Angels to My Family and My Son who has autism. We can't wait to return the next time that my daughter's team is in town for another softball tournament. The portions were great, the price was so reasonable, the food was totally delicious, and the people were So Kind. May God Abundantly Bless Your Restaurant and Staff Always! A Thousand Thank-You's!! If you're passing through Dunlap, do stop by The Mayflower. Food is delicious and presented well. If you arrive while Jenny is there, you will feel like a valued patron. Especially if she finds out your name. My favorite for breakfast is the cinnamon-swirl French toast with eggs and bacon. By the way, the friendliness there reflects the whole town.
