“How do I explain how much I love going to Smooth Sips. The atmosphere is always calm and inviting. Colorful artwork from a local school art club splashes tantalizingly across one wall, and there is often jazz music playing. The owner, Crystal, is always ready with a smile (and a smoothie suggestion if you need one!) It is always spotless and the seating options are cozy. I often come in to write (so hopefully you can excuse the flowery review), and it's easy to get work done in the environment Crystal has set. I imagine it would be a lovely space for studying (thankfully I don't have to do that anymore haha). Smooth Sips only uses high quality ingredients, and you can certainly taste the difference. I'm a coffee person myself, and the flavors that are offered are a great balance of options. My favorite is probably the cardamom rose latte, but I'm slowly making my way down the entire flavor list. And that's not even Crystal's specialty! Her smoothies are where she shines. Again, the high quality ingredients add a layer of flavor that commercial smoothie places simply can't match. Her selection is always changing, so be sure to come in and try things while she has them! If you like sweeter smoothies, she is always happy to add some agave for you :) As a fun bonus, Crystal also makes spice blends! She's even won awards for her ghost pepper spice (and in Texas, too, where I'm from, so you know it's good). I've tried her lemon pepper, made with lemon peel rather than just lemon flavor, and it is a rich complex flavor that makes me actually want to learn to cook. Luckily my fiancée does the cooking so I don't have to worry about anything but tasting it in the meantime ;) Speaking of, my fiancée has never been one for coffee shop hangouts, but Smooth Sips has us both coming along for mini-dates. I personally have not tried the food options like the chia seed pudding, but my friend has and they really enjoyed it. I cannot recommend Smooth Sips enough. I probably am mildly annoying my friends and coworkers about it, but I will continue to do so, because it's just that good. If you visit, I'm sure you will agree. 10 stars.”

“The best oysters I've had in a long time! Excellent service, the food was spectacular Maple Leaf Farms Duck, Steak Diane, scallops, Chicken Orleans. Outstanding dessert, Chocolate Mousse, Panna Cotta. I was here for my birthday and Chef Todd cooked my Cherries Jubilee tableside! The owners are hard working hands on and very personable. The cocktails, Old Fashion,Gin Royale, Manhattan classic cocktails made perfectly. I cannot say enough for the all around experience of this establishment.”

“We have been to Weaver’s twice with big groups and the food both times was excellent and so was the service! Recently just there Jan 7, 2023 with a group of 12. Our server did an amazing job! Food came out much quicker than anticipated with that big of a group and was excellent! If you haven’t tried the lemonade shake ups- they are awesome! I recommend Weavers if you haven’t tried it you should!!!”

They are difficult to reach by phone which is a bit of a down side as I wouldn't call their food particularly fast, but the flavors are excellent. Picked up a variety of tacos for a group of friends and they all raved about them.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian tacos and a vegetarian burrito are available.”

“This place was amazing!!! I had the Parmesan Truffle Fries, Their award winning Mac and Cheese and Patty Melt. First off the Patty Melt was delicious ?. The bread was nice and soft. The burger was cooked to perfection and cheese was melted and tasty. It came with a delicious Thousand Island Sauce. 10/10 2nd the Mac and Cheese. I see why it is Award Winning. It was truly perfect. It was flavorful, Ooey Gooey, cheesey. It had little pieces of bacon in it that was divine. The bread crumbs on top were tasty and toasted to perfection. 10/10 best Mac and Cheese I've ever had, and I've had a lot!! Last but not least the Parmesan Truffle Fries. The Parmesan on the fries were jus a little to salty but still overall great fries. I didn't taste any truffle at all. It came with a Garlic Aioli sauce,. which was bad in my opinion. I couldn't taste any garlic and it had a little sour taste to eat. Fries 8/10 Garlic sauce 2/10. Shout out to the Chefs/Cooks in the back, they did amazing. The presentation was beautiful. Every thing that came out of that kitchen looked Amazing. Shout out to my Waitress Natalie she was awesome and very nice. Publik House 9.5/10 Sauce Game 7/10. Portion game 10/10 there was enough food to feed 3 people. Price game 10/10. Especially for the amount of food you get. They are 1 of my top 2 best restaurants I've been to.”

“Thank you to Los Cabos for getting me out of a bind last minute. I had another plan in place for ground beef taco meat for a staff party and it fell through the day before. I called Los Cabos and they were able to make 10lbs of ground beef taco for me to pick up the next day. It was a hit! I’m so glad my original plan didn’t work out and we were able to have some delicious tacos from Los Cabos. I highly recommend them for your catering needs. I mean, who doesn’t love a nacho/taco bar?!?! Thanks again!”

“One of the best-kept secrets in Peoria! The atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was the best we've experienced anywhere in the area or for that matter anywhere. And the food? Phenomenal is the only word that comes to mind! This may sound crazy but the scalloped potatoes were simply fabulous. My Delmonico steak... I've eaten at restaurants that charged 5 times the price and I'd take this steak over theirs hands down. My wife had the wild boar and she raved over it. I simply cannot recommend it enough.”

“I have had some cookies from this business in the past, but I have never been inside the actual store in Peoria until very recently. The very first things that hit me right when I opened the door were 1) the smell (of course!) It completely enveloped me so much so that it almost felt like a warm hug, and 2) the cleanliness of the store. I also enjoyed a nice and friendly conversation from the young lady behind the counter. I was born in the 80s, so I never experienced the 70s, but this place "feels like" it's a time capsule of that decade. Great music played the entire time I was there, and the bartender kindly comped my diet coke.
