“Full truth did not try the food outside of pudding shots. The pudding shots are excellent.Fine bartenders, funky local low-key. Great place and fabulous smokers area.Bring chalk.”
“Breakfast on the weekends has always been a hit and has never been a disappointment. Generous servings for the price. Definitely check it out if you haven't.”
“The drinks were good, but we were never approached by a waiter, so had to go to the bar for all our drinks. They have nice outside seating, but after a while, you can't exit. The 3 gates were locked!!! Made me think, what if there's an emergency??!! We won't be back.”
“We came along way and buy it be a New Year’s Eve. We didn’t look forward to coming to Peoria not having anything to do when we arrived. There were only like four cars in the lot so we figured we were pretty early for the New Year’s bash security at the front door said there was a $25 cover fee. There was no food and he said that there were only three people in the bartender inside, which disappointed me to the bottom of my heart when I come back to Peoria, maybe it will be a more greater experience being that they won’t be charging people at the door who in the world would pay $25 or New Year’s Eve and you didn’t even have food we didn’t come from Chicago to visit somewhere as such so waste of money not knowing what the atmosphere would be like once the crowd picked up, and since we werethe first ones in the crowd to be there before midnight. You could have at least let us in for free because just a couple hours after New Year’s you were packed that was the most ghetto thing I had ever heard of.”
“Always a must stop when I am in town. Nice bar to "Get away" from your typical bigger sports bar. Bartenders are all very nice as well as the people. I will always stop in and enjoy the atmosphere.”
“It was really busy that weekend I wait 30 minutes for a call in and didn't even get it I had to walk out. To many ppl were there and only one bartender, but the food is great ”
“Had the pleasure of eating here on vacation last week. Had the Sunday special of all you can eat wings. Tried the Cajun rub first and then the house special blueberry moonshine BBQ. Amazing! Didn't like the street corn salad, but that's bc down here its warm and not sweet. Just a personal preference. Everything we tried was fresh and looked good. The best part of the experience was the server, believe his name was Blane. Best service I've had in forever anywhere I've gone! Thanks!”
“We had a group of 8 women there for lunch. What a fantastic deal! Everything on their lunch menu is $8.00, which includes a BIG sandwich or item along with one side. VERY GOOD FOOD!!”
“Food was delicious!!! Service was great and Chef was very friendly!! We will definitely be back — loved everything we had. The chicken shawarma was great, loved the hummus, falafel was also very tasty!! Thank you for a great dinner out with friends!!”
“We had the most amazing dinner tonight at Rhythm Kitchen! It was our first time and the food was amazing- there’s something for everyone! The atmosphere is so special and the staff is truly wonderful; our server was especially great with our very active toddler. Great food made by great people served by great people in a great atmosphere that is family friendly, we can’t wait to come back soon!”
“I had a great time at Bison on Sunday the 17th The atmosphere was great & the bartender Kim served me the best drinks. I definitely will be back next weekend.”
“Cute place! Nice decor and attentive staff. Creative tacos and the food was delicious. It's better than fast food and not all the fuss of a fancy restaurant. Would be nice if there were more booths and stronger margs ”
“The best oysters I've had in a long time! Excellent service, the food was spectacular Maple Leaf Farms Duck, Steak Diane, scallops, Chicken Orleans. Outstanding dessert, Chocolate Mousse, Panna Cotta. I was here for my birthday and Chef Todd cooked my Cherries Jubilee tableside! The owners are hard working hands on and very personable. The cocktails, Old Fashion,Gin Royale, Manhattan classic cocktails made perfectly. I cannot say enough for the all around experience of this establishment.”
“Hands down the best lunch in Peoria for the price and food quality. It is amazing and the cost is not much more than a fast food combo. Try the shrimp and grits or the brisket sandwich. They even have a gluten free crustless quiche and salad combo.”
“You really don't have anything to worry about I'm sorry about your previous ordeal and I will give you my very best to ensure you recover all your losses and make a good profits,I always focus on how I can make money for other people and improve their quality of life and in return god is good to me as I build lasting relationships in business and personal life.”
“We stopped yesterday while passing through. They did great at making sure things were just right. If something wasn't perfect they immediately acted to correct it.”
“We have been to Weaver’s twice with big groups and the food both times was excellent and so was the service! Recently just there Jan 7, 2023 with a group of 12. Our server did an amazing job! Food came out much quicker than anticipated with that big of a group and was excellent! If you haven’t tried the lemonade shake ups- they are awesome! I recommend Weavers if you haven’t tried it you should!!!”
“I attend this coffee spot to read books, while enjoying coffee with friends! Customer service here is great — I totally recommend especially it being in a safe area of town.”
“Brisket nachos, brisket Mac and brisket sandwich and fries was soooooo good. Came out quick!! Good flavor not fatty. First time here and will definitely be back! Waitress didn’t come back and ask how things were she was busy behind the bar doing stuff. But when she brought the bill she thanked us. People were friendly. New go too atmosphere was great.”
“Coffee here was great! The matcha was as well which was a pleasant surprise, as you can't always expect that. Service was great and it was a bright sunny place at noon. Very inviting and joyful. Would ”
“Very relaxed atmosphere. I got the impression that many are repeat customers that the waiters knew personally and lots of folks were friends. Small town diner feel. Food was good with homemade food items.”
“Birria tacos were great and the Carne asada burrito was probably the best I've tried in town. The beans were a little runny(doesn't bother me though) but the Spanish rice was well seasoned and perfectly fluffy(best ive had down here period.). Guy in the front was friendly and it was clean.”
“My husband and I stopped in while in town today, for our first time!! Great food, wonderful drinks and outstanding service! Carrie P waited on us and she was wonderful! We own a restaurant in central Illinois and we appreciate hard working staff that pays attention to detail and are a joy! We will absolutely be back!”
“Stopped in with my 1 year old daughter after unicorn world and Heather was a HUGE help by bringing out our food and to go containers when we were done. Only reason food got 4 and not 5 because they were out of turkey.”
“If you don’t eat here at least one time, you’re doing your community and yourself a disservice. This food is incredible, and the staff are wonderful. Looking for Halal in Peoria? This is your place. You’re not gonna find Falafel and Shawarma like this unless you go to Israel.”
“We have been coming here with our kiddos since we’ve moved to The Heights! The ice cream and desserts here are always delicious and the atmosphere is incredibly clean and welcoming. It’s hands down our favorite spot in town!”
“Stopped in yesterday for lunch, had never heard of this place before. Was very pleasantly surprised. Great food, quick service, I'll be back and recommend to others.”
“I’ve been a regular to this place for the last five years, and it never fails to impress. The food is consistently delightful, with a perfect blend of Middle Eastern flavors that tantalize the taste buds. Their fries are, without a doubt, the best in town—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. What makes Khoury’s stand out is the combination of quick service and friendly staff, which makes every visit a pleasure. It’s refreshing to have a fast-food option that doesn’t compromise on health or quality. The fusion of tastes here is a delight.”
“Went to Mike's Tavern in West Peoria IL for lunch today. This is a small hole in the wall bar and grill. You first think of a two and a half garage that someone turned into a bar. You would be close . The owner is happy to tell you the history of the place. I had their Tenderloin. Crispy crust, toasted and buttered bun. On the thin side of tenderloins but still thicker then most. Just comes with chopped onions and at least a dozen pickles. No lettuce or tomatoes. Husband had the Double Cheeseburger. Once again only chopped onions and pickles. We shared an order of Truffel Oil Fries. Hot and crispy. They were hard to stop eating! Normally these are Parmesan Truffle Oil Fries but they were out of Parmesan. Definitely worth a stop in for lunch. Kitchen isn't open on Monday or Tuesday. Small menu but food is GOOD EATS!”
