“The best oysters I've had in a long time! Excellent service, the food was spectacular Maple Leaf Farms Duck, Steak Diane, scallops, Chicken Orleans. Outstanding dessert, Chocolate Mousse, Panna Cotta. I was here for my birthday and Chef Todd cooked my Cherries Jubilee tableside! The owners are hard working hands on and very personable. The cocktails, Old Fashion,Gin Royale, Manhattan classic cocktails made perfectly. I cannot say enough for the all around experience of this establishment.”

“We have been to Weaver’s twice with big groups and the food both times was excellent and so was the service! Recently just there Jan 7, 2023 with a group of 12. Our server did an amazing job! Food came out much quicker than anticipated with that big of a group and was excellent! If you haven’t tried the lemonade shake ups- they are awesome! I recommend Weavers if you haven’t tried it you should!!!”

“Ardor provides an incredibly wonderful culinary experience right here in downtown Peoria. The food is so fresh, high quality, and full of amazing flavors. Their menu features many different options and each is beautifully presented by the very talented crew. I’ve enjoyed watching the staff prepare the food to absolute perfection - Alyssa and Kaitlynn in the mornings and Emily and Zeke in the evenings. I regularly pop in and sit at the bar without a reservation. If you don’t wish to sit at the bar, don't be surprised if you can't get a table without a reservation, and even at the bar there can be a wait to get a seat. Last week I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese and it was the best comfort food. Visit often, try the new items, find your favorites, and definitely take home some bakery goodies. Make sure to try a fabulous cocktail crafted by mixologist, Kostas. You won’t be disappointed.”

It was fabulous. I also had some traditional naan which was light and crispy. A definitely different flavor profile than most ethnic cuisines.”

“I am a huge Mexican food fan, and Hacienda El Mirador does not disappoint. The food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Lovely outdoor patio, vegetarian options, plenty of parking. I had the three taco plate- you can choose from many options. I had pollo, carnitas, and steak tacos. If you are a margarita fan, you'll be very pleased. You can even get a flight of margaritas to try out their options!”

“I was very overall pleased with this place! I had not eaten from here since I was a small child! My Mongolian beef was very good and tender! My husband had general tso chicken it wasn't spicy but still he loved it. It came with sticky rice. We also had creamy good potstickers! The portions of our entrees were huge! It was so pleasing! The sugar sprinkle donuts were so tasty and fresh! We shared some plum wine which was tasty but alittle syrupy. Our waitress was so nice and quick to get stuff for us. Take it home at eat the pie in the restaurant.”

We had the gyro sandwich, the falafel sandwich, Haddad’s Favorite, French fries, Baklava and their Freshly Squeezed Lemonade, and I recommend it all! The service was amazing, the best service we have had in quite a while, they were so friendly. Even though it’s about an hour and half drive from us, we will be making some trips back for their food.”

“Thank you to Los Cabos for getting me out of a bind last minute. I had another plan in place for ground beef taco meat for a staff party and it fell through the day before. I called Los Cabos and they were able to make 10lbs of ground beef taco for me to pick up the next day. It was a hit! I’m so glad my original plan didn’t work out and we were able to have some delicious tacos from Los Cabos. I highly recommend them for your catering needs. I mean, who doesn’t love a nacho/taco bar?!?! Thanks again!”

“This is a really nice Irish pub on Main Street in downtown Peoria. I don't think they are going for an authentic Irish experience here. This is an American pub with good beers on tap and a few others in bottles and cans. They serve simple, but really good quality Irish inspired pub food. The fish and chips were above average. I've had worse that cost more in places that promised more. Urlich's has their fryer dialed in, which says a lot about how they genuinely care about serving quality. Service was good on a quiet Thursday. I have had a couple of meals here and more than a few beers. Urlich's is a local worth supporting. Food food, good service, good atmosphere. Above average pub.”

“One of the best-kept secrets in Peoria! The atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was the best we've experienced anywhere in the area or for that matter anywhere. And the food? Phenomenal is the only word that comes to mind! This may sound crazy but the scalloped potatoes were simply fabulous. My Delmonico steak... I've eaten at restaurants that charged 5 times the price and I'd take this steak over theirs hands down. My wife had the wild boar and she raved over it. I simply cannot recommend it enough.”

The very first things that hit me right when I opened the door were 1) the smell (of course!) It completely enveloped me so much so that it almost felt like a warm hug, and 2) the cleanliness of the store. I also enjoyed a nice and friendly conversation from the young lady behind the counter. The date of this visit was Saturday, February 17, 2024.”

“The food was good, but there is a management problem at the 1101 W. Bird Blvd, Peoria, IL location. My wife and I were there tonight (10/07/22) between 6:15 pm and 7:00 pm. There was a lot of trash on the floor in the food delivery area. Employees were yelling back and forth, and at one point a large pan was dropped and it sounded like it was being banged around a number of times, like purposely kicked around. The noise was pretty distracting. It seemed like the place was being run by a bunch of junior high kids. Never had a problem at this location before, but if I was an owner, I would want to know what the heck was going on. The floors was discusting as well as the noise.”

We had a great time, thanks in part to Jimmy John's. Hunger arrived and we looked right and saw the sign, turned, parked and went in and ordered. “I love hot wings with all my heart so I know this review had to be made. Even though I chose BBQ this time I just want to say upon opening up my togo box that it was no mistake. You know how certain restaurants wings look slimy and undercooked? Not Richards… they literally have this method where they smoke the wings first and then throw in the grease after for a short amount of time to give the chicken a crisp effect. On the top of that the fries are seasoned!!!! Omg I even think they make a homemade ranch. So if you happen to be in that neck of the woods and craving some wings then, I would highly suggest stopping in! Oh yea sn I went on a Wednesday, they have a special where you get a pound of wings and fries only for $10. I’d say thats a steal.”

“Starbucks off Knoxville in Peoria, IL is usually pretty fast given they are directly across from an interstate exchange and two major hospitals. That being said, they got my drink order wrong. I’m not mad,m. I asked for oatmilk instead of dairy, as I’m cutting back down. It’s not worth wasting product on a mistake. I just hope they take a little more time to confirm as they were pushing out customers very quickly.”

They usually have vegan-friendly pastries and whatever milk will suit your fancy for a drink. The main sitting area is very chic and cozy. There are spots outside as well as a little nook inside if you need a quieter area to sit. As for the service, i absolutely love these people. They're so friendly and welcoming, and don't just flat out ignore you if you aren't ordering like some cafes do. It's in a beautiful historic building that always gives me inspiration whenever i go there to get work done.”

“Well I didn’t order any food but we was charge $20 at the door and we asked a few other people and they told us they paid nothing or $10. A $12 drink was more like a half a shot. If u 21 to 30 this club for you. Other than that find somewhere else to go.”

They have the most sauce and flavoring options available in the area. All that I've tried have been really good. They have classic flavors like mild, garlic parm, lemon pepper and they have really creative combos like jun jun and vaya pickle ranch. They fry a good fish too. Call in orders can be busy sometimes and may take a few tries. Pop in to order if you're in area, they're pretty quick.”

“All I can say is OMG!! I walked in for the first time I was about to order shrimp. Uncle Sam himself said you know I also have the best chicken in town. So I took him up on it and ordered his six piece and fries with a soda special. When I tell you this chicken was so good, crispy and tender, seasoned to perfection. No extra grease on my plate. Fries were seasoned perfectly!!! I was so impressed by the quality. Hands down this is my favorite and for now on home to anything and everything I want fried. WORTH EVERY PENNY!!”

“Had lunch at Saffron Social. The ambiance leans upscale but not stiff. The blackened Mahi fish tacos were delicious, just slightly salty for my taste. Side salad that came with it was perfect with cucumbers, radishes, and tomatoes. Our server Nicole was great; friendly and attentive to our table.”

Their menu features many different options and each is beautifully presented by the very talented crew. I’ve enjoyed watching the staff prepare the food to absolute perfection - Alyssa and Kaitlynn in the mornings and Emily and Zeke in the evenings. I regularly pop in and sit at the bar without a reservation. If you don’t wish to sit at the bar, don't be surprised if you can't get a table without a reservation, and even at the bar there can be a wait to get a seat. Last week I had the tomato soup and grilled cheese and it was the best comfort food. Visit often, try the new items, find your favorites, and definitely take home some bakery goodies. Make sure to try a fabulous cocktail crafted by mixologist, Kostas. You won’t be disappointed.”

“They've come back strong. Quality suffered before COVID but still pretty much the only place in town. After their temporary closure we were forced to travel elsewhere to get out Chinese food fix. When they reopened they came back with higher pricing but much better quality. Tried to go today but had to back out of there due to excessive heat. The air broke and the heat was stifling. Will be back when we can breathe in there again.”

“We have been to Weaver’s twice with big groups and the food both times was excellent and so was the service! Recently just there Jan 7, 2023 with a group of 12. Our server did an amazing job! Food came out much quicker than anticipated with that big of a group and was excellent! If you haven’t tried the lemonade shake ups- they are awesome! I recommend Weavers if you haven’t tried it you should!!!”
