“My recent dining experience here was absolutely exceptional, earning a rare 11/10 rating from me, and I couldn’t recommend it enough for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal. The standout for me was undoubtedly the Philly cheese steak, which was amazing in every bite. It’s clear that a lot of care and quality ingredients go into their food, as everything we ordered was delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service we received from our server Nikki added to the overall delightful experience. She was super sweet, attentive, and made sure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect.Another highlight of our meal was the fries, which were simply out of this world. Accompanied by the homemade dipping sauces, particularly for the chicken fingers, the flavors were over the top and left a lasting impression.I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a good bite to eat. The quality of food, coupled with the excellent service, makes for a dining experience that’s hard to beat. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, make sure to give this place a try. You won’t regret it! PROTIP: extra parking on the west side of the building and you can enter through the carryout door.“
“Walked in, almost right back out. Not a welcoming environment. Sat in the back by the kitchen. I had 3 of my young daughters and wife with me. We noticed the lady working in the kitchen was in a bad mood. Constant bickering. We ordered food and when the bartender put our order in I heard "welcome to chuck e cheese!" sarcastically from the kitchen. Almost paid for my drinks and walked out at this point but my wife said no so, we stayed. Lady in the kitchen was obnoxiously singing and whistling like she was angry. Periodically she would walk by and go to another room to get supplies. Wouldn't make eye contact or anything as she stomped by. Food came out and everything was fantastic. I'll probably never come here again because of that cook but if you don't have kids with you it'll probably be a positive experience. The bartender/server with the redish hair was phenomenal and attentive. Give him a raise and get rid of the child hater.Kid-friendliness: Absolutely not kid friendly.“
“Family friends and for a good time you want to hang out catch a buzz this is probably the place to be spent many years there in and out of this bar and thanks to Ronnie Frye and he kept it open all these years., I encourage you to all come out and have a few drinks and be merry.“
“This was the first time my wife and I had eaten at MD’s Sport Bar &Grill. I had the tenderloin with house salad,my wife had the fish and fries . Both meals were cooked to our delight. I would give this place a five star on all levels!!“
“My favorite place in all of Peoria Paul and Andrew have made a home away from home for me. I love Watson and Taylor as well as the rest of the staff. Keep doing what you do!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options and specialsDietary restrictions: Talk to the staff they will help if they canParking: Large parking lotKid-friendliness: Great family atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room and the restrooms are wheelchair accessible“
“I have a friend named Tina that started working here thats worked as a bartender at many different places! She is the sweetest lady you will ever meet! The bartender before her that I met also works daily here and she is super funny and nice as well! I was alittle nervous because of the location of this bar but they said its a quiet neighborhood and I had a nice time! I love the neat lighting by the bar and the nintendo painted beer garden outside! I will come back again!! They have $1.50 tacos on tuesdays and amazing apple pie drinks made with 150 proof rum! Delicious!“
“It's no secret that Olympia is my favorite restaurant in Peoria, IL! They serve bar style Grecian food with a twist. Some of our staples there include loaded gyro fries, gyros, hummus, saganaki, spanikopita egg rolls, burgers, and, of course, their jumbo wings! They play all the sports games, have slot machines and darts, as well as board games for the kids. They also have an all-inclusive dinners once a quarter with specialty menu items.“
“I don't know if I'll ever get around to ordering from the non-burger part of the menu. They make the best burgers around, and offer an interesting list of toppings. Do not pass on the fries for your side! Service is always excellent, but I could do without the weird lighting and TVs everywhere. Not a problem when it's warm enough to eat outside. And unlike some places, the wait staff doesn't forget you're out there!“
“The family and I came here for lunch and to watch some football. Pretty cool set up with the TVs in the bar area. Everything we had was fantastic. The boys loved their burgers. My daughter thought the wings were the best ever! My wife and I loved the nachos and the pizza. The pizza was by far my favorite. So many toppings and just the right amount of crunch with the crust. Service from Stephaney was top notch! We wanted for nothing. Thanks for a great lunch!“
“We live about 45 min from Hoops and have been going here for many, many years. Their menu looks wonderful, but we typically don't get past the Calzones, good stuff. It gets busy when there are shows at the civic center, so plan accordingly. Always happy when we go!“
“Had the best night of my life here 3 years ago and have been coming back ever since! Underrated for sure, easily the best bar in Peoria. Literally any night of the week the Bison is always the move, ESPECIALLY if you’re lucky enough to have Rain as your bartender!“
