This was our first time here and it was amazing. The atmosphere was beautiful. Our server name is April and she was very good at her job. I got the pancakes, hashbrowns, and jalapeño poppers and they were 10/10. My friend got a pork chop, baked potato, and the cornbread. She absolutely loved the cornbread, she said it was a large size. I highly recommend this place.

Had a great experience tonight. Food was on point and huge portions. Took half of both dinners home. Walleye was awesome. It had 3 LARGE breaded filets, 3 sides, bread, and dessert all for $15. Insane! Bottled Heineken was $5. Staff was pleasant and efficient. Take the drive and thank me later. :)

I was wanting to stop for a nice sit down meal. Old route 66 Family Restaurant has the same old diner quality food you can expect to get all over America. I asked for grilled walleye it came out like it was fried then grilled. My two orders of fries were cold. The orange juice tasted really cheap and watered down. My green beans were tough and stringy and why put a tomato on my plate if I didn't ask for it LOL. The place looks great I just wish they could get better quality food and prepare it nicer.

Stop here for good food served in a fun and friendly atmosphere by a friendly, competent staff. The decor is very much Rt 66 themed and the property appears to be well-maintained inside and out.

Thos place was fantastic! Had the country fried steak, it melted in my mouth. The meatloaf was also good.
