came an hour before closing, an HOUR. ordered 3 mini blizzards. cups were slammed on the counter one by one, none flipped upside down, and the window closed in our face before we could even fully get the blizzard from the counter. met with a cold stare when I acknowledged the rude interaction. i’ve worked in businesses that close late, and like it or not you have to serve regardless🤣

Ordered a Birthday Cake for our Granddaughter. The ice cream cake was beautifully decorated, we loved it. Delicious vanilla and chocolate ice cream with fudge crunch in center. Cake designer did an awesome job. This will be our place to go for cakes going forward. 👍🤎 Ordered another Birthday cake from DQ, delicious, loved the decoration. 😍

Cold stares from employee when you state that charging one dollar - $1 for nuts on a sundae is nuts. Menu says, free one topping, but that means you get the flavor of the sundae at no additional charge. 🤣

I feel like the kids can do a better job and have more supervision. We went through the drive-thru on August 21st, and had to repeat ourselves multiple times because all the kids on the inside working were hooting and hollering and making a ton of noise. Then when we get to the cashier, we say thank you and the kid doesn't even respond, Just shuts the window in your face. They could do better.

$ This is a typical DQ and typical DQ menu. It has a drive-thru as well as a patio and several tables. This is definitely a summer place. (Not sure if it has winter hours.) It is located on Rt 72 in East Dundee, close to the river and West Dundee. Plenty of parking in area in and around plus it is conveniently walkable from elsewhere in the immediate area. It's right off the bike path so walking or biking is an option. The traffic is a bit loud but you can still hear the nostalgic music coming from their speakers. We opted only for ice-cream and it was prepared fine. The only odd thing is we ordered our items together but they called them from the pickup window when it was done being prepared and called by what it was and not by our name. So remember what you ordered and listen carefully. 06/15/24
Parking: Small lot attached but located within a semi-residential area with street and public lots nearby.
Kid-friendliness: What kid doesn't like DQ food so no problems there. Only suggestion with small children is keep them close due to the potential traffic on adjacent streets. Rt. 72 is feet away and although limited speed limit, trucks and heavy traffic is possible.
