A surprise for good Mexican American. El Faro is a longtime favorite and has a few locations, including this one in East Dundee. It seems more authentic than Americanized stuff. El Faro has the best steak burritos and el pastor sopas. The owner is dedicated and always friendly. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Ever. We've been going to the West Dundee El Faros for 20 years and never disappoints. I highly recommend. I love this place!
