Waited in the store for 10 minutes for an order. Not only was it late, but not a single employee ever even acknowledged my presence from the time I entered the store until the time I left without my food.

I always love eating at Hungry Hobo when visiting family in the Quad Cities. Love the #11 Hobo Combo and the Taco Tato. The cheesy waffle fries are also delicious.

I would like to say that the group of people working there on the night of 9/7/22, around 5:30 pm, were the best! I don't go to Hungry Hobo very often, and I don't know the menu very well. Well, my 11 year old wanted a cold, ham, swiss, lettuce and tomato sandwich, which was the #8. Me, not being very well versed in the menu, accidentally ordered her the hot ham and swiss sandwich.....When the food came to the table, she was upset. We told her to eat it but she wouldn't. So, recognizing that it was my fault and that I had ordered her the wrong sandwich, I took the sandwich up to the counter and said to them that I ordered her the wrong sandwich, and then placed my order for the correct sandwich. The young gentleman at the counter told me that it would be no charge. I insisted on paying for it since it was my mistake. He insisted that I don't pay for it. The whole crew in the kitchen were very understanding as well. I wanted to write and say thank you. It was very refreshing to see such hard workers and young gentleman. They treated everyone with kindness while we were there. I even gave the young gentleman a tip. Keep up the great work!

My sandwich was taken to a different table then walked back to the counter by a 7/8 year old boy. Then brought out to me then they told me the sandwich was remade but I watched the sandwich the whole time and it's wasn't remade. So I asked them to please remake and with attitude and no apology a sandwich was brought out to me not sure if it was a new one. The contaminated sandwich went back over the clean side for a second time. No one wins on poor service no sandwich for me and the restaurant losses two returning customers.

Used the online ordering to get 2 sandwiches, a cheese fry and a nacho supreme. Placed order 20 minutes before pick up. Had to wait another 35 minutes after pickup time to receive food. Got home fries were ice cold and there was only 6 in there. H steak sandwich didn’t have cheese on it. Nacho supreme was also missing ingredients. Staff was didn’t care and kept using the excuse they were too busy. There was several other people waiting also but nothing drastic. We have eaten at this location 25 plus times and we will never go back again.
