Two of my friends and I ate here I ordered a steak burrito had a conversation with the waitress about wanting it to be taco truck burrito and wrapped, it came rolled with both ends open, and I had to re-wrap it in order to pick it up. It did not taste good. This is not Mexican food. Period.
They up charged us for chips and salsa and guacamole, even though we ordered three dinners , the waitress failed to mention we were paying per item, most egregious of which was the chips and salsa charge I think a 4-6 dollar soda.
We ended up spending $30 each and left a $10 tip, that’s pretty pricey for the quality of food. I mean, you can get a steak dinner for $25.99 elsewhere.

I decided to give Rudy's another try. I grew up going to Rudy's. I would order the same thing every time....medium shell tacos with no salad and it would be pouring over the top with cheese.
Now, it's $11 for three tacos and its a shell with a thin line of meat with almost no cheese. Don't tell me this is inflation, corn tortillas, ground beef and shredded yellow cheese are not so expensive that they have to do this!
This isn't a one time thing. It had been like this the last four times I've been and so I should probably have known better than to keep trying. Its just hard to let go of childhood favorites.
After posting this, I read some other reviews. Perhaps they might consider actually putting something in their tacos shells other than lettuce after one, let alone many, bad reviews complaining about it. Why wouldnt they make sure this doesnt happen ever again after even one bad review? Because its on purpose, of course.
I don't even want to take them up on their offer to make it right, that's how bad it has been the four times I've gone over the past 2 years. I've certainly learned my lesson, finally.

Not happy !!! Place an order with them for delivery absolutely no salad. I make sure I specify that only meat and cheese . Got tacos very little meat and cheese. lettuce tomato added when I specifically said only meat and cheese!!!! Food was cold 😞 when delivered and I don't even live 10 minutes away from restaurant 😭

The food was good, the Margaritas were amazing. We ate at the counter. We were watched 👀 the entire time. Literally stared at and felt totally rushed. I got up to use the restroom and the little handicapped girl reached out to take our drinks. I have nothing against under privileged people working. I want to know why the 2 waitresses let this happen? If there is a next time, we'll be sitting at a table as far from the counter as we can possibly get!

It’s been awhile since I was here & I know why, the food still sucks! We did carry out & the enchiladas were a big blob of goop. The burritos were fine because there wasn’t any cheese on it. A disappointing meal & we won’t go back.

Ordered two small combos to go, had to go back for rice/beans. Got home and opened container and it was the worst excuse for a small combo. Tostado was flimsy paper like shell. Smelled like old burnt grease. Called and got money refunded. Will never go back there!

Ordered steak fajitas and an order of tacos thru drive thru and got large combination which costs less than our order. Very disappointed and didn’t want to drive all the way back.
I visited Rudy’s Tacos in East Moline and overall, it was just okay. This location compared to others isn’t the best, and the atmosphere could really use an update. The food was decent, but a bit on the bland side, nothing that stood out as amazing. The service was fine, nothing memorable but still friendly enough. It’s not a place I would rave about, but I might come back if I’m in the area. It just didn’t offer anything that felt special. 3/5 stars.

Got tacos and rice there, rice was burnt and shells were stale. Ended up with food poisoning the next day. This was at the East Moline location on the avenue of the cities.
