Very BBQ looking place with a bit of a diner vibe inside. Plenty of seating and good service. On appearance and service, it has the BBQ theme covered...except the BBQ I got was unpleasant and very overpriced. I tried the burnt ends. They had a chemical like flavor that my friend and I thought tasted like they used lighter fluid on the wood. They were also too chewy and excessively fatty. On the plus side, the Mac n cheese was really good. Very large portion with good flavor. I couldn't eat much of the burnt ends and we were shocked that our bill was over $70. This is not a high end BBQ place and has no business charging so much for sub par meats!

This was a cute and quaint little place. You could tell they absolutely have regulars that know the waitress' name (Suzy I think?). She was very nice and likely the only waitress that actually works there. She handled 5 tables at once with ease. This place is pretty small (5 tables in the room we were in and another 2-3 near the entrance/kitchen). They surprisingly had a lot of options on the menu and although it is a bbq place, my coworker and I did not try it as we had a long day ahead of us! They sell breakfast, bbq and lunch all day though so whenever the desire strikes, you can eat it here! We both ended up getting cheeseburgers and they were good! I realized we weren't asked how we wanted the meat cooked, but it came out well-done which is how I would have asked for it anyway. The meat was still tender and juicy. The fries were also just a little crispy, which I enjoyed and the coleslaw was sweet and delicious ( and I don't like many people's coleslaw)! It felt like a family atmosphere and it was a nice little place. I'd definitely come back to try the BBQ if I was ever back in this area.

Had a great 1st experience at Smokey's. As soon as we came in we were greeted and felt welcomed. We ordered and the food came out quickly. Everything was really hot. My burnt ends were great tasting! I've been to a couple other BBQ places recently and none of their burnt ends compared. The mac and cheese, homemade fries and coleslaw were also really good. The other people in my party said theirs was good and would like to return as well. The waitress did an excellent job at following up asking how the food was and refilling drinks.
