Anthony is the best mixologist anywhere. The menu is five star. Charcuterie served for 2,4, or 6. Whatever you do, don’t eat before getting there. Gary & Patty.
Atmosphere is upscale but fun. The view of the river is amazing from up there. The service is tip top. Loved the steak and blue cheese crostini. So rich. The shutter reborn was fun and big enough for everyone.

I met assistant chef(Ethan) who informed me that they messed up my order by putting garlic on my Bavarian soft pretzel. They did apologize for their mistake which take a lot to confront someone about but I'll be honest this is the best mistake. There was so much flavor and the mixture of Hot honey or Beer cheese turn out amazing. Give this a 5 Star for a simple mistake. Let's go Ethan

The bug situation was disgusting looking out the windows, I understand there is nothing they can do about it, but it affected the ambiance!
I’ve visited The River Room a few times and have had a generally positive experience, especially when it comes to the bar. The drinks are consistently good, and I highly recommend the Bourbon Smash, it’s one of the standout options. As for the food, I’ve tried a few dishes, but unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed. They didn’t quite meet expectations in terms of taste, leaving me a bit disappointed. On the bright side, the atmosphere is great, with a solid view of the river that adds to the overall ambiance. If you’re there for drinks and the view, it’s definitely worth a visit, but I wouldn’t rely on the food as much.

Wonderful view and comfy chairs. Expensive for the amount of food you get. $16 for a flatbread pizza... server was pushy and didn't really give us time to decide on what we wanted, and the place wasn't even busy at that time

What a breathtaking view! I was completely in awe of the expansive, colorful sky during sunset—it felt like the sky was putting on a show just for us. The location feels a bit unexpected for East Moline, but it’s definitely a welcome surprise. There’s a certain charm to this place, almost like discovering a hidden gem in an unlikely spot. The food was good, though fairly basic. I enjoyed my meal, but I couldn’t help but feel that the menu could use a more elevated touch to match the beauty of the surroundings. With such an incredible atmosphere, I expected a bit more creativity or flair in the dishes. Still, the experience was enjoyable, and the stunning view alone makes it worth a visit!
