While the ice cream is still by far the best in the area, consistency between locations - and Even staff members can vary. Girl at the 41st street store upcharged me $ .40 for malt powder? I miss the fancy embossed Red WHITEYS logo on my cup. If I'm paying over $6 for a single serving treat, I want to show off to everyone seeing me eat it! Why are the cups generic now? Seems more staffing - or more locations could keep summer lines shorter and more efficient. Yes, Whitey's is still the best, but for the prices could use some improvements.

What a local gem. I always forget about how good Whitey's is until I get a craving... so good! The Whitey's shops are always so clean and the packaging is high quality. Great flavors and something for everyone. Excellent quality local company. Don't go expecting a rush experience like Dairy Queen, this is next level and they hand scoop and blend the shakes. Takes some time but is always worth it.

Great hard pack ice cream. A great variety of flavors. Indoor is immaculately clean. Service is very pleasant. Not particularly speedy. Drive through can be slow, but it's worth the wait. Shakes and malts are not for straws. A spoon is a must.
