Boyd's Steakhouse offers an energetic and delightful atmosphere, with friendly and attentive servers. The prime rib and augratin potatoes are highlights, cooked to perfection. The restaurant also features a fabulous bar with delicious cocktails, including highly recommended drinks like the Raspberry Lemon drop. The quality of the steaks is truly excellent, with each cut cooked perfectly and very satisfying. Appetizers such as crab cakes arrive with visible chunks of crab, adding to the dining experience. The portions are large, and seafood dishes like pasta with shrimp, mussels, and clams in a spicy sauce are flavorful and plentiful, often enough to take home for another meal. The chicken tenders and steak fries can be greasy, but the molasses butter for the pretzel breadsticks adds a nice touch. The atmosphere is “fine” and friendly, with helpful suggestions from the staff. While the wine list is not extensive, the overall experience is highly recommended, and many guests plan to return for the excellent food and welcoming service.
