Sombrerito Mexican Restaurant

We stopped in for lunch. They have a lunch menu from 11-3, but we ordered the regular portions. The chips are light, and the salsa is not spicy but good. The queso is slightly thicker than most places (which is a good thing) and has a good kick.

The menu was big and had a lot of options.

We tried the carnitas plate and the steak fajitas. Both were very flavorful. We also tried a shrimp quesadilla that was ok. The horchata was good. The restaurant was busy but the service was still good.

I ordered th skirt stake and shrimp togo, it was so bad. first the skirt stake is not skirt stake it's a flank stake then is cut really thin. the shrimp was rubber and tasted like it went bad I had to spit it out. the grilled vegetables that cake with it were raw and had no grill marks, barley warm. I ended up throwing away everything but the rice, I ate half of that and could still tast the bite of shrimp. I usually love this place but this was the first togo order and I'm really disappointed. this was a 25$ meal and expected more for that price

Excellent food and service! Sebastian was our server. He was awesome: prompt and attentive.
Our food was amazing. We frequent a ton of Mexican restaurants, and this one is so good! The cheese dip was on point and everything was hot. Seriously, the best Mexican food I have had in a while.
Also, I’m pretty particular about cleanliness. The booth we sat at was hand-carved and had some deep crevices that could get dirty easily, but they were not. 10/10

Worst experience ever, they were so racist and rude. I always go there and I believe that was new manager today he was very disrespectful. I see new faces and they don’t know anything about customer service. Would never go there again. Would not recommend anyone this place use to be our go to always use to go there but not anymore the worst service ever. The owner was always nice but didn’t see him today and the other owner lady wasn’t there either and these people that they hired needs some more training especially on customer service.

This place somehow keeps getting better and better. We usually get it as takeout but like to dine in once in a while. Staff is always friendly and service is great. Margs are delicious and I just got their organic margarita and it was fantastic. A fave for my husband and me is the fiesta fajitas for two but last night I got some enchiladas and they were just bangin. Also the rice and beans are so good we boxed up the leftovers and devoured them the next day. Can’t wait to go back!

I've been ordering the same thing for years. Burritos deluxe, both burritos with ground beef with white cheese sauce on top. The last 4 times I've been there I have placed this order to go. I get to work and open it up and all 4 times I have only 1 burrito. Where's the other burrito? So after tax I paid $15 for 1 burrito. Come on guys get your $hit together.

Great carnitas fajitas. I'm menu indecisive, so was glad I asked the server for her recommendation. She did not lead me astray. Such great flavors in that dish and great service!
