Just ordered some queso and chips from there and they serve it cold at least that’s what they told me when I called and complained about it. They told me they opened up a bag of queso and serve it cold. They only heat it up if you asked for it to be heated upso let alone getting cold queso they don’t even make it homemade it’s literally served out of a bag cold very disappointing won’t be back.

Was a bit confused by the burrito I had. So I got an al pastor burrito and it was alright but like one half had a ton of rice and the other half had a ton of beans and neither side had both. It wasn't really bad it was just kinda weird. The consume on the birria I felt needed a bit more salt but yea overall my experience was just ok. Not amazing, not terrible, just okay. Although I will add that charging for sauce is a bit sacrilegious seeing as most places just give you that complimentary.

As always I’ll give my honest review. I stopped in ordered 6 steak tacos and a steak torta. Everything was made fresh however this has to be the most tasteless Mexican food I’ve ever had. First off the steak was severely over cooked burned steak throughout all 6 tacos and the torta and i mean burned to the point where it was crunchy. Steak was under seasoned and bland definitely not the experience i was expecting after reading the reviews.

Wow this place is good. I moved to Illinois from Arizona. I’m always on the hunt for some decent Mexican food. Came to town for costo and found this close by. The asada burrito was fantastic. Every tasted truly homemade. We were stuffed walking out but my boyfriend wishes he got two more tacos simply because they just tasted THAT good. He got asada and chorizo tacos. Food was out fast. Bring cash to leave a more impactful tip! Will be coming back here.

Some of the best authentic tacos in the Peoria area and their tortas are just as good. Service was friendly and fast, we ate inside where there is limited seating. Highly recommend.

Food is good but every time I order they keep putting nasty lettuce on my burrito when I specified no lettuce when I ordered so basically a waste of $12 lettuce makes the whole burrito taste terrible

We went today and got two burritos one a super which was extra money because it was supposed to have all of the meats and a chorizo. You could not tell they had rice or beans on either of them. The super only had ground beef so we extra money for what? No chicken, no pork, no steak! I was really looking forward to trying their new sit down restaurant but we are good now. Super disappointed in the food. The girl working the counter immediately started laughing after I placed my order I didn’t know if she thought I was funny looking or what was going on. Turns out her boyfriend must have been making fun of me or something behind my back because she ran right over there without another word to me laughing the whole way. Awful food and service!

EXCELLENT SUPER VEGGIE BURRITO! super friendly helpful counter help. convenient spot. lots of parking. they have a restaurant and bar next door…. the taqueria is pretty bare, no music, was hot. but the food was great!
First time visit today.. the server was so kind and helped me with choosing the taco special! I chose 1 chicken and 2 steak… chicken was good but the steak was amazing!!! My daughter loved her tacos also. It was so nice that the owner / chef came out to help introduce himself. Seriously this place is a great place to eat! We will be back!

So we ordered 2 tortas and 2 burritos. The man taking my order suggested me to order Extra Steak. $56 with no beans,rice,chips,salsa,or drinks. So the food. The Steak had fat chunks in most ever bit I took. My daughter had a Chicken Burrito the flavor was good but had chunks of cartilage and skin from Chicken. The wife had a Torta which she said the steak was filled with fat.This place is not good at all. No attention to detail on the food prep. I would rate a 4 out of 10 or 2 stars.
