This was actually nice. Drove all the way to to Washington Park, IL from Belleville to test it out and it was good. Presentation needs a tad more effort, but thank you China House, it was worth the drive
I typically like the taste of their rice. I like to get plain fried with onions, bean sprouts, n egg....the last 2 times I've went.....my rice was gummy in texture. Either its being overcooked or the rice is being recooked to preserve their ingredients......I know rice can be a hit or miss at these kind of spots, so I'll try again once more but if I get the same gummy rice for the 3rd time...imma have to tap out on "The Orange Rice House"....

This visit was in 2021, I went back this year but they were closed. I have never been home and not been able to have my yearly fix for real Chinese food. ? This was the first year and I was so sad. I just found out a couple of days ago that they moved to State street....next visit I will find them! ?
