“Hunt Brothers Pizza is a great pizza for anybody searching for really good tasting food the employees are always very respectful their Pizza is also never undercooked or overcooked it is always just right with a perfect amount of toppings”

“We always really enjoyed the chicken strip basket from DQ but it’s too far to go. Tonight I ordered the strips and fries from Treats R’ Us in Edgewood and we will never make a trip to Effingham again for our favorite fast food meal. And I’m not gonna lie, I tried a small blueberry ice cream cone as well, and it was fantastic. Don’t overlook these small town food and ice cream places when you are looking for some good food! They are hidden gems.”

“We just happened to be traveling by to Effingham from Bridgeport IL and decided to stop and eat. They had all you can eat fish buffet and it was very good. My husband loved their fried potatoes. Waitress was very pleasant and great service. Nice Bar and Grill.”

“Great food, Great options. But best of all, VERY affordable prices. Everyone was very nice and I would recommend to anyone within a 30 minute drive! We split a grilled tenderloin a corn nuggets.”

“It’s basically a self serve case inside a gas station, which i expected a restaurant attachment or even just an ordering bar but it was just a case, it tasted like normal pizza hut. it was about half full when i was there so limited options. Wish there was better signage so i knew it wasn’t a store and just a case.”

Everyone one of us has probably reached into a McDonald's bag and found a twice-fried, harder than a diamond french fry, impaled into your cuticle. If you can look past an occassional food mishap, I think I have a sound argument for a 5-star review based upon effort alone.

One late night, I ordered four cheeseburgers, minutes before midnight. One was a special order. Their ire would have been justified, but they sensed I was desperate, and did not punish me. Sure the burgers were literally made with $700 worth of mustard, but they were figuratively made with compassion, and maybe even love.
