6/9/25 We went to the Twisted Biscuit in Cape Girardeau. I have an elderly mother in law we were visiting this weekend. By the time she was ready to leave for breakfast, I knew it would be the restaurant’s busy time. So I entered us on the online waitlist so my mother in law, who uses a walker, would not have to stand long. We just ate at the Edwardsville location and thought the food was delicious the service was slow for how busy they were. As soon as we sat down my father’s chair broke from under him and not one member of the staff came to see if he was ok. When we got a waitress attention she said they haven’t replaced the chairs and took about 5 minutes to bring us a chair that wasn’t bent back into shape. Just had breakfast at Cape location and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The chicken and waffles with the Nashville hot syrup were perfect. Great breading and chicken was tender and flavorful. Waffle was great as well. Server Joy was fast and courteous. Best breakfast spot ever
