Highly recommend! We are visiting Effingham Illinois for the next two weeks and so happy we found this amazing spot with authentic Thai food. We were greeted at the door by a friendly woman who seated us immediately. After bottles of water were brought to our table, we soon-after ordered the spring rolls with tofu, as well as the Lad Na (vegetarian brown sauce with flat noodles and vegetables), and the pad tai; both with tofu. When we come here it is on our way south from Kankakee. I speak Thai and lived in Thailand for several years so it always enjoyable to stop in, say hi, and get some seriously authentic home style Thai food. The owner is quick to accommodate my requests for things not necessarily on the menu. I love this place
Lovely little place. We had dinner and there were only 2 other people dining in. The owner mentioned we were the first customers of the day! The food tasted like a home cooked meal. The owner was happy to explain dishes to us and offer suggestions. Everything was cooked to order and came to the table as it was ready. Truly felt like a home.
