Our second time here, and the food and service were very good. Excellent quality, and the best beet salad I think i’ve ever had. But as we were checking out, I noticed some interesting anomalies on our bill. First, an unexplained 5% service charge was added to the total, which I was unaware of. And the martini my wife ordered came in three parts. First, the martini charge was $7. Then a $13 charge was added to that because she asked for Belvedere vodka. Fine. Next, a $1.50 charge...
It was our second time dining at Firefly as we live on the Gulf Coast. We came for brunch with all four of us ordering off the brunch menu, delicious! Mushroom soup was outstanding! We were seated on the back porch which is lovely and it even snowed for us! Great restaurant and staff!
Firefly continues to be our go to restaurant in Effingham. The food is outstanding and the service is always good. I highly recommend that if you are in the area it's worth your time.
