Is everything you want in a Chicago beef shack. The restaurant is clean and inviting with plenty of parking in the strip mall. I've had their beef before with catering and it's excellent, but this visit was the Chicago dog. It was perfect. Double dogs for a dollar. It's one of the better hot dogs in the area. The bun held up the entire time, even with two dogs and all the toppings. And it might sound silly, but the place has really good napkins. They are thick and stand up to the food that doesn't fall apart. Just saying. Don't miss Tuesdays with one dollar hot dogs. Definitely recommend. Also the fries and the combo are legit way better than portillos

Cheesy garlic beef and fries are the best! Gives portillos a run for their money for sure. Great representation of classic Chicago beef.

This chain has gone downhill! Portion was tiny, skimpy and expensive. Mini beef and cheese on garlic bread was $8.59. The sandwich was tiny about 4” in length. Skimped on the cheese and the beef was over heated so it tasted tough and rubbery. It is off my places to stop for a beef sandwich. Used to be one of the best around!

Place was nice. Crowded at lunch. But 1.00 hot dogs will draw crowds. Came for a geocaching event. Lots of tables.

Enjoyed a italian sausage sandwich. The flavor of the sausage was perfect and the bread was toasted and went well with the sausage. The fries are great too..crispy and like no other...this sandwich was like grilling one on the Southside of chicago and a party of old....second item I've had from here and it doesn't dissapoint...this place is going to make me fat(er)....very good..
