Bennigans was a staple for my friends and I for years before most of them disappeared years ago, so finding and going to this one was a nostalgic trip down memory lane - and it did not disappoint! The food and atmosphere were wonderful and it was like being reunited with an old friend. I'll definitely be back!

We just had our Mom's 90th surprise birthday party here. The staff was fabulous! A big thank you to Mary, Sofia and Romy in particular. They helped usher her in, they refrigerated the cake for us, they took care of everything! I highly recommend Bennigan's for a party.

The food is still good, although it was a bit more consistent back in its hay day. Staff is friendly and helpful (and patient) and if you like sports, the TVs are on all the games.

Lilli was our server and she was absolutely amazing! We split our lunch because the portion sizes are huge, she had the kitchen plate the meal on 2 plates. For my drink, I ordered a water with extra lemon. She remembered the lemon, and even brought more lemon when she refilled my water. While the water may not seem like a big deal, the amount of servers who do not remember to bring lemon is very high. I'm not trying to cheap out on my meal, and we always tip as if it was a drink on the receipt.

We used to have Bennigans ìn our Southern Suburbs and enjoyed it very much. We were glad to see it up in Elgin, closer to our family. So, after enjoying it with another couple, we gave it a try for our family whole group. It was enjoyed by all 9 of us. Daniella was our server for dinner.
Parking: Easy walk-through from Holiday Inn to the restaurant. I liked the "1/2 sandwich and soup" (tonight's soup of the day was clam chowder). Very enjoyable!
