In the area and stopped in for a coffee and glad we did. Great coffee and great atmosphere with the Doctor Who themed interior. Very personable and friendly staff. (I think it was the owner) We'll be back when we're in that neck of the woods again.

I used to get blue Café all the time and it was great.. but the last year their sandwiches are soggy with spoiled ingredients I don’t know what happened to this place.

Being a Whovian, how did I not know about this place after they've been open for ten years!? Probably because it's 48 miles from my home in Chicago, and it took two buses and a train to get here -- 2 and a half hours each way. Those of us without cars suffer. The restaurant itself is cute. It's clean, the staff is friendly, and you should definitely go if you're a fan. This is basically a small cafe with a lengthy list of sandwiches and salads, along with a little selection of muffins and cookies. I didn't try the coffee, but other reviews say they're pretty good. My only qualm? Turn the heat up! It felt like 60 degrees on a day when it was 30 degrees out. Maybe close the cafe doors to keep the cold out completely. Other than that, definitely make a trip if you're a Doctor Who fan.

Their cold brew is the most perfect coffee I've had in years ? Their love for their community shows through in everything they sell. You don't have to be a Dr. Who fan in order to enjoy their menu. Do yourself a favor, and just go!!

Was visiting Elgin for the day and saw on yelp they had gluten free bread. The bread was crispy, savory, and the tuna inside was amazing. Service was a bit rushed when I ordered but it was very busy. Wish more things on the menu like soups were gluten free. The place has great ambiance and highly recommend to anyone looking for a good cheap bite!

Amazing food and service, great prices and funny staff. I got the create-your-own sandwich and the chicken noodle soup, while my friends got the Hot Chocolate and the Centurion. Great flavors, all fresh. Decorations are top notch, recommend anyone in the area to visit at least once!
