I had such high hopes for this place, judging from the reviews. But it was ok. I asked the host for a booth, I noticed 2 booths were not reserved. He said every booth was reserved, ok, then how come there’s no menus on them?Alright, I got sat at a table. The lady was super sweet though, she was great. So I am looking over the menu and all of a sudden, they put menus on the booths. Ohhhhh looks like they were JUST NOW reserved, gotcha.Anyway, I got spaghetti, it needed seasonings badly, the sauce tasted like Ragu, the pasta was a bit al dente & I was not offered parmesan cheese. My friend stated their dish was very bland and the chicken was too dry. I like dry chicken so I wouldn’t have minded.Sadly I would not come back.

One of the best restaurants in the suburbs for Italian food. Our waitress provided great service and went above and beyond. Would highly recommend!

I met my parents here the other day as we both traveled some distance to meet up. This restaurant was absolutely wonderful atmosphere, small & quiet when we were there. I believe we had their lunch menu, and I ordered the Capellini pasta, my dad got Eggplant Parmesan, and my mom got the Italian Beef. Unfortunately I would suggest the entire staff of the restaurant needs to eat that same sandwich my mom ordered. She said it was dry & had no flavor, as if they boiled the fatty meat in plain water and threw it onto a crispy piece of bread. Thankfully she said something(my mom has never sent food back my entire life and I’m in my 20’s she’s in her 60’s) so for her to ask it to be removed from the bill just shows how gross it was.Our server was WONDERFUL, and of course she took it off the bill, and encouraged my mom to order another dish. She settled on the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and broccoli. She was throughly pleased with that dish, so it all ended well. The restaurant seemed cleaned and well managed other than maybe their Italian beef haha.Advice for future customers, don’t order their beef unless they change their recipe.Advice for the restaurant, PLEASE have a tasting going on for your staff members. The person who creates/created the recipes and cooks them needs to allow constructive criticism/feedback on their dishes. It really helps your staff;A) know your food betterB) allows for more ideas to help your kitchen/staff blossomWould definitely come back here again due to the wonderful service and delicious pasta!

Really bad food, Mushy Chicken Parmesan, store bought pasta, really weird meatballs. The Bruschetta is literally just chopped up tomatoes with a little olive oil on toast which isn't what bruschetta is. Everything was criminally underseasoned like i legit don't think they know what salt and pepper is. The host treated us like we were vagrants off the street. Not sure how this place has any good reviews i imagine its the clientele at that point. Don't think I saw a single person under the age of 40.Our waitress was fine nice and attentive is about all i can say good about the place.Would avoid going here if you like your food to have flavor.Oh forgot to mention the Caesar salad, they only use like "sawdust" parmesan which is not real parm its gross doesn't taste like parmesan at all.

The food was good, service was great, the atmosphere was not as warm as an Italian restaurant should be.

CHECK YOUR BILL! $4.00 for extra ice cubes.

Be careful to check your bill VERY carefully. One of our party drinks scotch. He had two. He asked for extra ice for his scotch (for each of the drinks). When the bill came, there was an extra $8.00 charge. We asked about it and were told that the extra ice cubes were $4.00 each. Talked to the manager/owner(?) privately via messenger on FB. He talked all about the costs of things going up and this was their way of making up for those costs. I told him that it wasn't the charge, it was the fact that they HID the charge. Were we supposed to make a scene in the restaurant over it? We'll never go back. As an aside. I got Eggplant Parmesan. Only ate a small amount of it because the quality was so poor. The person from above offered me another dish. Said it wasn't worth it.

Went for a Team holiday lunch. Everyone got something different and wanted to try everyone else's lunch. We all agreed we waited far too long to try this place and will be back. Food was delicious, portions were generous, service was top notch, and a line was out the door when we left. Reservations recommended. Hours are limited and Cafe Roma is tucked away in an office building, but worth hunting it down. Only complaint was there didn't seem to be any heat, or it was set very low. No one in our large party found the temperature comfortable and it was, indeed, a bit distracting to the enjoyment of our meal, but come summer I will happily stop in again (desserts to go and also delicious).

Great little Italian restaurant, family owned, delicious food. We had Chicken Marsala and Veal Parmasean. Both meals came with salads and pasta/potatoes. The Tiramisu and Cannoli melt in your mouth. Yum!Wheelchair accessibility: The doors have push buttons.

Absolutely delicious food! The decor is minimalist but at these large portions and reasonable prices, who cares? The hubs ordered the fusilli with sausage and meatballs and I ordered the chicken Marsala. Both dishes were wonderful and we also ate our generous leftovers at home the next night as well. I ordered a yummy California Pinot noir and it did not disappoint - its round berry notes were truly luscious. Mary was our server and quite busy, but we never felt overlooked or waited an unreasonable amount of time. We enjoyed our dinner tremendously - make sure to make a reservation!

Catered from here for a birthday party and everything was delicious. We got the Alfredo and vodka sauce with sausage. All the guests were asking where we got it and many were going back for seconds. Would definitely order again!
