We attended a wedding at providence vineyard and the food was not what we expected of such an elegant party! The spinach salad with strawberries and nuts was tasteless and bland, the main dish was horrible chicken breast was dry and cold, the rice tasted like instant boxed rice, and the potatoes and asparagus were bland with no flavor! The bread rolls were from Sam’s 😣 there were no sodas only water served with the dinner! Good thing the father of the bride brought the taco 🌮 truck at the end of the night with sodas 🥤!

I had my wedding ceremony and reception at a private barn estate in Monee, Illinois. When I contacted Catering Made Simple, they were very communicative and professional. I was to have an outside ceremony, but we had to adjust quickly and move the ceremony inside the barn due to the rain. Cary, Catherine, their staff, and the homeowner moved swiftly to ensure the ceremony was set up in time and aesthetically pleasing and intimate. The Catering Made Simple staff went above and beyond throughout the entire event. The dinner and desserts were delicious. To this day, I am complimented on how tasty the filet that was cooked on-site was. During the reception, the owner and Chef Greg met me and my husband to ensure everyone was pleased…this was a charming and personal touch. My husband and I truly appreciate the entire staff!!

received this food from a drug rep at our doctors office. Several people were very sick for multiple days after. Not sure how or where the food is prepared, but eat at your own peril!

Very disappointing experience.First of all, it is nearly impossible to call this company. I tried multiple times over a course of 2 weeks, different times of the day, and different days of the week. No one ever answered even though their hours said they were open. When I went to email them, Laura took days sometimes up to 1 week to answer an email.Secondly, the week of, Cari was supposed to call me about final touches of the event, which was a bridal shower I hosted for my cousin. We had a date and time. She didn't call. She texted me 30 mins later and said that she had another meeting so she can call now. By then I was upset because why would you schedule a meeting at a time we were supposed to have one? Or if it was important she could have texted me she was going to be late. They clearly have communication issues. The next day when she did call me she sounded like she was miserable. She sounded like talking to me about the bridal shower was the worst part of her day.While the day of coordinator, Nancy, and the cook, Brad, were amazing people, we had issues with the service. Our food came out late. We had an event from 2-5. Food was supposed to be out at 3. It wasn't out until 3:30 which isn't necessarily the problem if 10 mins later their single waffle maker broke and they didn't replace it until 40 mins later. We had an omelette and waffle bar. I'm confused why the company thought one waffle maker and one pan was ok for 75 people. People were in line until we had to leave the event. Some people who drove over a hour away didn't even get an omelette.When I expressed my disappointment and suggestion of another pan for their future services (amongst other small things that were a setback that day) the owner, Greg, he seemed to brush my concerns under the table and didn't take fault at all. He pointed fingers at some smaller issues we had and said that the hour + wait for food was okay. He handed it unprofessionally. The food was okay but I don't recommend the company for their unprofessionalism.What people seem to not understand is that some families do not have money. A lot of us who paid for this event had to work MONTHS of overtime to afford a nice event for my family member. And to be swept under the rug and not taken seriously is highly disappointing.

It’s really sad to see the amount of positive reviews…my best friend got married and used this group. I am extremely sad to say they do not deserve a positive review. Our food was cold and received over 2 HOURS after salad was served. There always wasn’t enough “food” and instead of taking accountability the bride and groom were blamed for numbers being higher however everyone had name place cards indicating the exact number of people. Very dissatisfied.
