My niece brought Chinese food to my house and she knows what I like. She got me the chicken chop suey and the shrimp fried rice. Let me tell you I wasn't disappointed at all. The chop suey was so delicious and the shrimp fried rice was very delicious and fluffy. This place kinda tastes like the old Bangkok house downtown Elgin that's not there no more and I use to Love that place. But now I found a new Chinese joint that serves the best chop suey and shrimp fried rice. I ordered take out, I ordered over the phone the guy on the phone was really polite and he said my meal will be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived it was all ready and I paid a reasonable price. I never dined in so I can't really say anything about that but I found my new Chinese joint to eat good authentic Chinese food and that's Chans garden. Thank you for your food and service I just wished you were located downtown Elgin

Our supper was delicious! From the sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice and egg rolls - perfect. 🥡🥠. The owners are so friendly and helpful. 10/10 We appreciate you.

We travel all over the US, and this is hands down, THE BEST Chinese food we have ever ate. They honey chicken was AMAZING, as well as the fried rice and crab rangoon!

Location very outdated...walls ,flooring, cluttered... Dirty.. Great food though.

5/17/2025 - I've been coming here 3 to 4 times a week for the past 3 months(?). This is, by far, the best Chinese Restaurant I've been to in many many years. I always order the same thing, Vegetable Chop Suey. Every time it's excellent. $7.54 after tax for a complete meal. That can't be beat. It comes with 5 mushroom slices. Always 5. I don't like mushrooms so I pick them out. But I don't say anything because maybe they add a flavor to the Chop Suey. I included 2 more pics of tonight's meal. So good!

I found this place last week and ordered the Beef & Broccoli. It was delicious! The beef was tender, and I don't know how they do that. I ordered from them three more times last week, and they're consistent—each time, the food was just as delicious.

Tonight, I stopped by on my way to work and ordered the Beef Chop Suey (see pic). It tasted just like the chop suey I used to get as a kid growing up in Addison, IL. There was a place on the corner of Mill & Lake, next to Milly's Pancake House.

Anyway, I ordered the small size, but it’s a full plate, and there was more in the container. The price is very reasonable too. You can go to that fast food place with the girl with the pigtails, get a single, fries, and a drink, and it costs more than this. This place is awesome!

Fyi: I've order the Beef & Broccoli twice and Beef Chop Suey 3 times. I'm curious about the Szechuan Beef, however. I'm a simple man.

Food was pretty good. Unfortunately they don't have a big seating area about 2 tables and that's it. Very quiet place, maybe add some music? Canned soda, bottled waters, tea to go and everything goes in to go container's. Be patient there is only one person working the front. I suggest you order ahead and just pick up.

Quick takeout. Don't do it often but it happens with kids... Food is not bad. Interesting part is they sell pottery, chairs, and furniture.....

We Love Chan's and order here frequently! They are always super quick and kind. At this point we've ordered so many different dishes. The best part is that the crab rangoons reheat really well in an air fryer!
